Why not spend a luxurious time at the gourmet all-inclusive resort facility "World Heritage Resort Kumano Club"?

World Heritage Resort Kumano Club, located in KumanoCity City, Mie Prefecture, is an all-inclusive resort facility that provides a luxurious and relaxing time. All guest rooms are suites. In addition to that, we offer the best hospitality everywhere, including meals, hot springs, and a variety of activities. We actually visited the facility and interviewed them about the facility and its services!

Arrived at World Heritage Resort Kumano Club! The grounds are vast. Now, where is the front...?

Approximately 15 minutes by car from JR KumanoCity Station. The World Heritage Resort Kumano Club is located in a peaceful mountain surrounded by mandarin orange fields.
This time, we visited Kumano Club, a world heritage resort known for its high-quality gourmet all-inclusive services, and talked about its facilities and services.

The building on the right after entering from the entrance is the reception building. Procedures such as check-in will be performed here. When I visited for the interview, it was during the Spring Festival, so in this photo, there are decorations to reflect that.

There is a parking lot across the road from this front building, and visitors arriving by car will need to use that parking lot. There is a parking lot with plenty of space for 85 cars, so you won't have to worry about finding a parking space. Please note that there are no EV charging facilities.

There are a lot of oranges like this at the entrance of the front building. This is not a mandarin orange to eat (although it is delicious to eat, of course), but rather a so-called "welcome drink".
There is a tangerine squeezer in the back, so you can make and drink freshly squeezed tangerine juice yourself.

There is also a corner near the front desk with books about the Kumano area and world heritage sites. Why not think about the history of Kumano while drinking freshly squeezed mandarin orange juice?

When you check in, you will be given this pedometer.
The grounds of the World Heritage Resort Kumano Club are very large, so it is necessary to move around on foot. Wear this when you're on the go and enjoy your walks.
If you complete 5,000 steps or more during your stay, you'll receive a small souvenir.

Diagonally opposite the front building is the souvenir shop ``Kinan Sachi Shoten''. It was closed at the time of our interview, but when it's open, you can buy not only souvenirs but also ice cream and miscellaneous goods. There might be something you can find.

Opposite the front building is an experience center called Takumi Kobo.

A variety of hands-on classes are held, including Nachi Kuroishi processing experience, moss ball making, and picture letter classes. Some classes are limited to hotel guests, so please inquire in advance.

Kumano Club not only holds hands-on classes at the artisan workshop, but also holds various activities on a daily basis. The staff's recommendation is the "Starry Sky Viewing Party." This place is in the mountains and there are few buildings around, so you can see stars that are difficult to see in the city very clearly.

The contents of the trial classes and activities change depending on the season, so if you are interested, please contact us as soon as possible.

Surprise! Kumano Club's vast grounds and luxurious guest rooms

The grounds are so large that you need to cross a pedestrian bridge. You might get lost, but don't worry, there are information boards like this all over the place.

There are two main types of guest rooms at the World Heritage Resort Kumano Club: the hotel building (main building) and the detached rooms.

The hotel building is located near the restaurant ``Ryotei Kokuu'' used for dinner, and has 20 rooms in total. The types and number of rooms are as follows.

・Suite rooms with open-air bath: 3 rooms
・Room with indoor bath (universal design): 1 room
・Semi-suite rooms: 16 rooms

On the other hand, ``Hanare'' is located in a corner called ``Hanaresakura Village'', which is about a 5-minute walk from Kokuu. There are also 20 rooms in total. The types and number of rooms are as follows.

・Royal suite rooms with detached open-air bath: 6 rooms
・Detached suite rooms: 14 rooms

This photo shows the scenery of Hanaresakura Village, which has an outbuilding. Depending on the room, you may have to walk a lot. I want to keep a pedometer close to me.

This is the inside of ``Are Suite Shingetsuan.'' The green glare outside the window is impressive.

In addition, the amenities provided in all rooms, including the hotel building and not just the annex, are from L'Occitane. This is a great service especially for women.

This is the open-air bath of Mangetsu-an, a royal suite with a detached open-air bath. You can spend a luxurious time while relaxing and looking at the green mountains and the starry sky.

Please note that this open-air bath is not a hot spring, but a boiling water bath.

The joy of travel, gourmet food and local sake. The drinks are free!

Next to the hotel building is Kumano Club's main dining restaurant, ``Ryotei Kokuu''.
At the restaurant, which has a calm atmosphere, you can enjoy kaiseki cuisine made with a variety of ingredients grown locally in Kumano.

Although the variety may increase depending on the season, the dinner courses at Ryotei Kokuu basically consist of the following three types.

1. “Kumano Emaki”, the three best places to enjoy beautiful Kumano beef, spiny lobster, and abalone
2. “Karyo” is a place where you can enjoy the taste of domestic beef and Kumano.
3. Blessings of the Four Seasons Kaiseki "Tsukisai"

The most popular course is the ``Kumano Emaki,'' which is luxuriously packed with Kumano's delicacies.
In addition to Kaiseki, there is also a wide selection of a la carte dishes, and guests can enjoy a wide variety of alcoholic beverages with free drinks at no additional charge during dinner. (*Some drinks are available for a fee)

Additionally, on the first floor of this building, the Satoyama Bar will be open for two hours every day from 8:00pm to 10:00pm.
A service limited to hotel guests where you can enjoy a variety of local sake for free. After savoring the kaiseki cuisine, enjoy a relaxing glass of local sake at the bar.
Be careful not to drink too much...!

Kumano Club also has another restaurant called ``Shunsai Shokubo Chissoan''.

The main feature here is a lunch buffet with a wide variety of locally sourced ingredients. Although it is only open on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, it is always busy.

The lunch buffet prices are as follows.

Adult: 1,620 yen
Elementary school students/seniors (over 65 years old): 1,080 yen
3 years old and older: 540 yen
Under 2 years old: Free
*All tax included

Chissoan also has terrace seating. When the weather is nice, it's nice to have lunch while looking out at the magnificent nature from the terrace.

By the way, this terrace is also called "Yoga Terrace".
On Sundays from 6:30 a.m., ``Morning Yoga to Improve Your Beauty'' is held as an activity exclusively for hotel guests, and the venue is this terrace. Doing yoga surrounded by nature...I think it will cleanse your body and mind.

In addition, on days when the weather is bad or cold, yoga will be held in the lobby of the large public bath "Yuyoku Mibokko", which can be seen in the back of the photo.

All you can see are the mountains and the sky. Kumano Club's proud large public bath "Yuyoku Mibokko"

Each guest room also has a bathroom, but if you want to enjoy the ``various baths'' that change every month, we recommend using the ``Yuyoku Mibokko''.

During the period when mandarin oranges are harvested (from autumn to spring), the bath becomes a strange bath filled with various types of mandarin oranges, such as ponkan and banpeiyu, and at other times, it becomes a strange bath using materials such as wood and charcoal.

Of course, day trip bathing is also possible. In that case, the prices are as follows.

Weekdays (13:00-21:00): 750 yen for adults, 450 yen for children (3 years old to elementary school students)
Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays (12:00-21:00): Adults 1,000 yen, Children 650 yen

We also sell coupons for day trip bathing. It costs 6,000 yen for 10 sheets, which means you can enjoy a bath for 600 yen each time, which is a great deal.

We also sell a set ticket for bathing + Chissoan buffet for 2,100 yen (adults only). Considering that the buffet alone costs 1,620 yen including tax, and the bathing fee on weekends and holidays is 1,000 yen, this is also a good deal. In addition, with this set ticket, ``bathing and buffet can be taken on separate days.''

This is the open-air bath where you can soak in the water. Relaxing in a hot spring in a space where you can only see the mountains and the sky... What a luxurious time.

In addition, the hot water used in Yuba Mibokko is delivered from "Shinyu no Kuchi Onsen" in KumanoCity City.

When you go to the hot spring bath, don't forget to bring this "milk tag" that is placed in your guest room.

If you bring this tag to the front desk, you can exchange it for one of three types of milk or a bottle of ramune.

The milk used is `` ouchiyama Milk,'' which is well-known in Mie Prefecture. People from southern Mie Prefecture may have been drinking it during school lunch.

The relaxation salon "Shinki-an" is attached to the Yuyoku Mibokko building.

The main feature of the menu here is the ``Hot Stone Treatment using Nachi Kuroishi''. The smooth surface of Nachi Kuroishi is said to be perfect for the ``Hot Stone,'' a type of relaxation that relieves fatigue with warm stones.

We also have intensive foot care courses. Relax and soothe your tired body by strolling through the ancient paths.

Reservations required at least 3 days in advance. Day use is possible, but there are discounts available for overnight guests.
Although it is basically a ``women only'' treatment, it is also possible to treat men as long as they are accompanied by a woman.

Suite rooms, walking around the area, hot springs, gourmet food, free bar, relaxation, starry skies...
Kumano Club, a world heritage resort, is home to a ``healing space'' that is a must-visit for those who are busy working every day.

There is probably no better place to enjoy a relaxing and "extraordinary" experience.
