A Shinto ritual held as a festival at the Ama Suben Goddess Shrine. This is a brave festival in which young people from the Kaimaya and Satoya areas of Kunisaki divide into two boats and compete to see how fast they can sail. It is said that prayers are given for a bountiful catch of the ocean's bounty, and it is said that if Satoya wins, there will be more mullet, and if Kaimaya wins, there will be more sardines.
