Date: May 5th every year

This is a Shinto ritual in which samurai eboshi and ichijo gasasa, dressed in costumes from the Momoyama period, plant rice to the tune of music played by musicians, praying for a bountiful harvest and a bountiful catch.
After the seedling ceremony, a round fan competition was held in the center of Kanda, where large fans with the symbols ``Ebisu'' and ``Daikoku'' drawn on them were held together. If ``Ebisu'' won, the fishermen would have a good catch, and if ``Daikoku'' won, the farmers would have a good harvest. This will tell you whether this year's harvest will be good or bad.
The unique Harvest Dance, performed while chanting ``Hae ya hae, hae ya hae,'' is a sign of early summer in this region.
It was registered as a prefecture-designated intangible folk cultural property on March 17, 1971 (S46).
