Kanko dance passed down in IseCity

Date: August 14th to August 16th (tentative)

Kanko Odori is a Bon event held to commemorate spirits, and uses a percussion instrument called ``Kanko''.
In Enza, Souchi, Nakakomata, and Shimokomata, it is a fantastic sight to see people dancing around bonfires wearing headgear made of white horse hair called shaguma.
Great nenbutsu and hand-held fireworks are held in Kamijo and Ohayashi in Misono-cho.
