Matsusaka Shrine New Year's visit to Matsusaka Shrine

A shrine listed in the Engishiki that has been enshrined in Shigohyakumori since before the Heian period. It was also the guardian shrine of Matsusaka Castle.
Matsusaka Shrine is said to bring blessings for business prosperity, traffic safety, and recovery from illness.
During the first visit of the year, sweet sake and oshiruko (sweet red bean soup) will be served (December 31st to January 3rd).

From Matsusaka Station, take the Suzu-no-Oto Bus ``City Area Loop Bus (counterclockwise)'' or Mie Kotsu ``City Park Line'' and get off at ``Shiyakusho-mae''. 5 minutes walk.
Approximately 15 minutes by car from Ise Expressway "Matsusaka IC"
