Hydrangea Temple in Shima, Daijiji Temple

Daijiji Temple is where the commander of the Kuki Suigun Nakirimaru, Kawazura Ukon, and his powerful retainers rest in peace. In early June, 1,500 hydrangeas bloom in its quiet grounds, earning it the nickname ``Shima's Hydrangea Temple.''
