The Nikaki Residents' Self-Government Council has constructed a giant rice straw monument, now in its ninth year, in an effort to contribute to revitalizing the local area.
This time it's the Phoenix.

Detailed information
From JR/Kintetsu Matsusaka Station, take the Mie Kotsu bus towards Sumeru. Get off at "Akataki". Transfer to the Iinan Community Bus and get off at the Hiyamaguchi bus stop.
*The Iinami community bus bound for Hiyamaguchi only runs on Thursdays and Fridays.
From Ise Motor's Matsusaka IC, take National Route 166 to Iinan.
