The event ``Happy Summer Festa'' will be held at Akatsuka Botanical Garden's satoyama garden ``Red Hill Heather Forest'' and the adjacent farmers' market `` Asatsumi'.

◆ Guided water lily tour in the park
Our staff will show you around the water lily pond in the park, which is at its peak.
Date and time: 7/16 (Sunday), 7/17 (Monday holiday) 10:00~10:45 each day
Location: Please meet at Red Hill Entrance.

◆ Mr. Tone Insect Guided Tour
This is a guided tour by Mr. Tone, an insect specialist and dragonfly researcher. Let's walk around the park and learn about various insects!

Location: Please meet at Red Hill Entrance.

◆ Crayfish fishing tournament
Prizes will be given to those who rank 1st to 3rd in weight for one fish over the three days.
*Crayfish cannot be taken home.

◆ Insect collection OK
You can collect insects in the park for 3 days only!
*Normally, we ask that you refrain from collecting insects within the park.
*You cannot take home the insects you catch. When you are finished observing, please return it to its original location.

◆ Insect specimen display A large collection of insects from all over the world
Beautiful butterflies, beetles from all over the world, Japanese beetles, stag beetles, and more!

◆ Fun lottery
A lottery without a blank lottery will be held at Asatsumi Event Square. You can win gorgeous prizes such as orchids, Red Hill Annual Pass, rice, and assorted vegetables!

Distribution of lottery rights:
Starting July 1st (Saturday), we will be giving away one lottery ticket for every 2,000 yen spent at Asatsumi, Red Hill (store), and AkatsukaFFCpavilion.

This is a 10 minute 500 yen treatment using scalp carbonate essence. You will feel refreshed and relaxed♪

◆ Workshop/miscellaneous goods sales
Workshops and miscellaneous goods sales will be held in the cool store! Herbarium pen making, head and shoulder care, key chain making, card sessions, etc.

Others include medaka scooping, kitchen car, etc.
