The 56th All Japan University Ekiden Championships
Date: Sunday, November 3, 2024 (National Holiday)
The All-Japan University Ekiden is known as the three major student ekidens, along with the Hakone Ekiden and Izumo Ekiden.
Every year on the first Sunday of November, the race runs 106.8km across 8 sections from Atsuta Shrine in Nagoya to IseJingu in Mie Prefecture.
A total of 27 teams participated, including 25 representative schools that had won seed schools and selections in eight regions across the country, as well as open participants Japan Gakuren Selection and Tokai Gakuren Selection. The best university relay race in Japan will be decided in Ise.

8:10am Start (Atsuta Shrine)
IseJingu Naiku: Take the Sanko bus from JR/Kintetsu IseCity Station or Kintetsu Ujiyamada Station and get off at Naiku mae bus stop, then walk for 1 minute.
During the All Japan University Ekiden, there will be traffic restrictions on the course.
