This is a rock fishing tournament held in Kumano, a treasure trove of fish.
The big fish competition usually takes place between late October and mid-December.
There are three competition categories: black porgy, black porgy, and other fish. The top winners will receive a prize. The winners of the black porgy and black porgy categories will receive 30,000 yen and a prize.
