Shuuijutsu Kanchu Current Winter Swimming Tournament

Kankai-ryu, an ancient swimming style, was adopted as one of the martial arts of the Todo clan in 1852.

Every year in mid-January, public performances are performed by Kankai-ryu masters at akogi, the birthplace of Kankai-ryu, the Kansui-jutsu technique.
