1. Enjoy seafood rice bowl at “Owaseo Uo Ichiba Ototo”
``Owaseo Uo Ichibaoto'' is a restaurant where you can enjoy Owase gourmet food, with menus that use fish and local vegetables caught at the local Owase fishing port. In addition to the famous seafood bowl, there is a wide variety of menu items, including sashimi, boiled fish, cooked rice, and curry. Which should I eat? I'm confused. You line up at the counter with your tray, pick your favorite side dish, and order your bowl at the cashier.
Shiho ordered "Jigyodon DX" (1230 yen including tax). A luxurious bowl containing the day's recommended local fish and bluefin tuna. The recommended local fish this time are albacore tuna, cutlassfish, red barracuda, and skipjack tuna. It's great to be able to taste multiple types of fresh fish at once.
We also chose ``Chawanmushi'' (250 yen including tax) containing scallops and shrimp, and ``Jimono Aosa Miso Soup'' (60 yen including tax) to go with the bowl. It's all about seafood!
Shiho-san: “It looks delicious~! I’ll eat it!”
Shiho who ate local fish don DX. "It's fresh and delicious! Also, each piece of sashimi is incredibly thick. It's hearty and good!" They were also very satisfied, saying, ``The chawanmushi is delicious with a good dashi stock. The aroma of the seaweed in the miso soup is also outstanding!''
``I love milk, so I buy local milk and drink it when I travel!'' says Shiho. Get “ouchiyama Milk” sold at the local products corner of Owaseo Fish Ichiba Ototo!
Shiho: “It has a rich taste, but the aftertaste is refreshing. It’s delicious!”
Charge your energy with local fish don DX and ouchiyama milk and head to your next destination!

2. Walking the World Heritage Site Kumano Kodo Iseji Magose-togePass
We have arrived at the starting point of the Kumano Kodo Iseji Magose-togePass Pass! Kumano Kodo, which was registered as a World Heritage Site in 2004 as part of the "Sacred Sites and Pilgrimage Routes of the Kii Mountains," includes IseJingu and the Kumano Sanzan, Kumano Hongu Taisha, Kumano Hayatama Taisha, and Kumano Nachi Taisha. On the road that connects them, Magose-togePass that Shiho walks this time is a scenic spot with beautiful stone pavement and Owase cypress forest.
The cobblestone pavement, made of heavy natural stones laid in layers, has protected the road from collapsing from the rain in Owase, which boasts one of the highest rainfall rates in Japan.
The sunlight filtering through the trees shines down on the stone pavement. “It’s beautiful!” Shiho said. I took pictures of the beautiful scenery.
