Experience the beginnings of Ise at Okageza Mythology House, a Japanese mythology experience facility! [Anshin Mie Ria Excellent Store]
掲載日:2022.03.30
The god enshrined in Naiku of IseJingu is Amaterasu Omikami, the main deity of Japanese mythology.
At the Okageza Mythology Hall, you can learn about the Japanese mythology in which Amaterasu appears through easy-to-understand videos and exhibits.
Why have people sought out Ise since ancient times? Before you visit Naiku, please come and experience why.
What is Okageza Mythology House?
Naiku enshrines the god Amaterasu Omikami, the main deity of Japanese mythology. How was it made?'' is explained in an easy-to-understand manner using videos and exhibits.
This time, this facility was selected as an "Anshin Mie Ria Excellent Store", so I went to experience it with Mie Prefecture PR Ambassador Sara Natsukawa!
“Learn the meaning of visiting a shrine!” A must-visit spot before going to IseJingu
As I mentioned earlier, it is a facility where you can experience ``Japanese mythology,'' so by stopping by before or after visiting the shrine, you will be able to deepen your understanding of the background, such as the origins of Japan and the meaning of visiting shrines.
You can see them everywhere in Okage-yokocho, so be sure to look for them♪
"Mythology Theater" with a large screen
When you enter the museum, you will be greeted by Tsuneyasu Takeda, the great-great-grandson of Emperor Meiji and the guide to the Okageza myth!
The Mythology Theater has a set screening time, so until then you can enjoy Mr. Takeda's explanations of Japanese mythology and riddles.
When the time came, we proceeded to the theater room.
In addition to renovations to the facility during the coronavirus pandemic and proper ventilation, we have reduced the number of people allowed in the building to 20, ensuring sufficient distance between customers.
In this theater, a 15-minute animation provides an easy-to-understand overview of the Japanese mythology in which Amaterasu Omikami, who is enshrined at IseJingu, appears, from the birth of the country to the descent of the descendants of the gods. Ta!
"Mythological Forest" where famous scenes from myths are recreated
If you're going to IseJingu, learn about the mythology before visiting!
This time, I introduced Okageza Mythology Hall, but the article did not introduce the specific screening content of Mythology Theater or the many exhibits at Mythology Forest.
Visit IseJingu Okageza Mythology Museum, where you can learn about the gods and the origins of Japan in a fun and hands-on way, and deepen your understanding of the myths before visiting IseJingu. Please♪
