Iifukudaji Temple, located deep in the mountains of MatsusakaCity, is said to have been founded by En no Gyoja during the era of Emperor Monmu.

In the surrounding area, there is a sacred place and training place for ascetic ascetics (Yamabushi) called ``Ise Sanjo'', which was established in 701 and has been designated as a scenic spot by the prefecture. Many shrines still remain today, including the ``Kanegake'' and ``Aburokoboshi.''
The ``Iwaya Hondo Bell'' is located in this mysteriously shaped rock in the midst of nature.

``Ise Sanjo'' has been open to the public since the Meiji period, and many people come to the mountain to experience the ascetic practices that have been practiced since ancient times!

One of the places to do this is ``Aburokoboshi,'' where you climb up a vertical cliff using only chains. There is no lifeline, and you have to climb up using your own strength. Climbing the steep slope step by step is a true training experience! !

In most of the places where you go, you don't have a lifeline and you have to try it on your own, which can be dangerous.

[How to climb a mountain]

・Reception hours for the training hall are [Summer] 8:00-15:00 [Winter] 8:00-14:00

・When hiking, please wear clothing that allows you to use both hands and is comfortable for exercise.
・Please put your donations in the gift box.
・The time required for the front area is 1.5 to 2.5 hours, and for the back area is 30 minutes to 1 hour.

Bamboo Shrine in Meiwa MeiwaTown was established in 1901 by combining the deities of 25 shrines located in the former saikuu Village.
