Nabananosato winter illumination "Fuyuka Contest" has started again this year. The glitter of 8.5 million balls, one of the largest in Japan, is so beautiful! It will be held for a limited time for 158 days from October 25, 2013 to March 31, 2014 (Monday).

This year's theme is "Celebrating World Heritage Fuji". Fuji, which shows various expressions, is a must-see.

Nabananosato 's annual winter illumination ``Winter Flower Contest'' has begun again this year! It will be held for a limited time for 158 days from October 25, 2013 to March 31, 2014 (Monday).

This year's theme is "Celebrating World Heritage Site Fuji."

First, Peter Rabbit welcomes you at the entrance. Families and couples were taking photos.

This is the ``sea of clouds of light'' in front of nagashima Beer Garden. A 2.4m high arch of light continues, and blue LED lights spread out under your feet.

The pond in front of the village's symbol ``Chapel'' is about 120 meters long! There is a taiga of light. It is inspired by the flow of a river and is the largest water illumination in Japan. The colors change and it's so beautiful!

This is the famous "Tunnel of Light" (Arching Illumination Hanakairo). The approximately 200m long tunnel is illuminated with cute petal-shaped "warm lights."
Warm colors are created by incandescent light bulbs. This was also a popular photo spot for many people. I also took a commemorative photo.

And when you pass through the tunnel of light...

This year's theme is "Celebrating World Heritage Fuji"! It beautifully displays the majesty of Mt. Fuji in all four seasons, and its ever-changing appearance even during the day. The changing colors of Fuji, which is approximately 30m high, is a sight to behold! I would like you to see the real thing rather than the photo.

This photo is of spring cherry blossoms.

This is Diamond Fuji at sunrise. It creates a dynamic scene at dawn. I was impressed by the scenery as the light gradually grew larger!

This is Mt. Fuji with autumn leaves taken from the observation deck. You can see the scenery covered in brightly colored autumn leaves. I was able to see Fuji beautifully from the observation deck with a different look.

This is the new “Momiji”. The LED bulbs are red and yellow, the colors of autumn leaves, creating a tunnel of warm light. My heart was healed when I entered the tunnel.

Nabananosato is also a famous spot for maple leaves! There are over 500 autumn-foliage trees such as Japanese maples in the park, and you can enjoy their collaboration with the illuminations until late December.

In the mirror pond in the photo, the maple leaves were reflected on the water surface, and many people said out loud, "It's beautiful!"

I look forward to the illuminations at Nabananosato every year, and this year it was even more beautiful than I expected. The scale of Fuji is especially impressive. I would like you to visit Nabananosato and see the real thing, not just the photos.

It gets very crowded on weekends, so we recommend going on weekdays or using public transportation. It is about 10 minutes by direct bus from nagashima Station to Nabana Nabananosato.
