What is NEMU RESORT?
NEMU RESORT is located in Ise-Shima National Park in ShimaCity Mie Prefecture.
This is a resort accommodation facility surrounded by forests and the sea, where you can experience activities such as glamping and yoga that take advantage of the vast grounds and nature, and experience an extraordinary feeling.

It's exciting to be able to have a valuable experience where your child can experience the fun and difficulty of "work" at the hotel NEMU RESORT in Ise-Shima.
In fact, this accommodation plan was created through a collaboration between NEMU RESORT and Mie University Faculty of Education students as part of Mie Shokudo's human capital development platform project.
The ``Aim to become a NEMU RESORT master! Work experience plan'' was selected by the judging committee from among four plans devised by the students through actual interviews, questionnaires, and analysis.
You can experience a sense of accomplishment through hotel ``work'' experiences such as making a bed and cooking.

This time we'll be introducing students Hosokawa-san, Hiraishi-san, and Yoshio-san, who came up with the accommodation plan.
The two main tasks are cleaning (making the bed) and cooking (making dinner)!
Experience 1 Bed making
First, start by making the bed in the room you will be staying in!
To ensure a comfortable stay, it is important to make your bed clean and wrinkle-free.
Try your hand at it while being taught by a ``bed making professional'' who is usually in charge of cleaning the guest rooms!
The key is the triangular fold.
This is surprisingly difficult.
First, fold the sheet into a triangle and tuck it under the mattress.
Next, I took down the extra sheets and put them back inside...

The two of us checked the left and right balance many times and made fine adjustments, and the bed was finally made!
On the day of your stay, your child will be able to stay in the room where the bed was actually made.

Experience 2 Tekone sushi cooking experience
Next up is a cooking experience!
This time, we will use locally produced Ise tuna to make ``Tekone Sushi,'' a local dish from the Ise-Shima region.
One of the condiments was seaweed from Toshijima Island in Toba TobaCity Prefecture.
This is an experience where children can experience the charm of Ise-Shima food by having them try cooking using seasonal ingredients and ingredients from Ise-Shima and Mie prefectures!
The recipe is arranged and the ingredients are prepared so that even children can make it, so it's easy to try out cooking!
Fill about half of the rice, arrange the tuna marinated in seasonings on top of the rice, top with the condiments, and in no time you'll have ``Tekone Sushi''!

It was the first time for all three of us to eat Ise tuna tekone sushi, and we were impressed by how delicious it was!
