``Matsuda Bicycle Company'' provides a convenient bicycle rental service when touring TamakiTown.

Tamaru Castle Ruins where you can enjoy the history and scenery of TamakiTown
Tamaru Castle Ruins, the symbol of TamakiTown Town. It was built by Chikafusa Kitabatake and Akinobu Kitabatake as a base for the Southern Court during the period of the Northern and Southern Courts, and later became the residence of Oda Nobunaga's second son Nobukatsu. The field-like stone wall, piled up with natural stones, still remains and is very impressive.
When I stood at the ruins of the castle tower, I was able to look out over the vast scenery while feeling the pleasant wind blowing up from below! It is a famous castle that has been designated as a cultural property (historic site) by Mie Prefecture and one of Japan's Top 100 Castles. It is a famous spot for cherry blossom viewing in the spring, and the stone walls and other castle ruins are illuminated in the winter.

Experience the world of tea ceremony at Genkosha, which has a 170-year history
This tea room and annex was built by Tokusui Kanamori, who while conducting political affairs as a chief retainer of Tamaru Castle, was also a master of the Omotesenke tea ceremony, which was inherited from Sen Rikyu. It is a simple yet sophisticated Sukiya-zukuri style building that features a natural feel that allows you to enjoy the surrounding scenery as a borrowed scenery, and opened to the public and began renting out facilities in June 2020.
From the tea room, you can see a beautiful garden that gives you a wabi-sabi feel.
There are tea plantations on both sides of the road leading from the reception office to Genkosha, where the tea room is located, and I was able to enter the world of tea even before I entered the tea room.

Kuchira Shrine
As I was riding my bicycle, a thick forest suddenly appeared in the midst of the rice fields.
Kuchura Shrine is located in this forest.
``Kuchira'' means ``to shut up'' and is said to indicate that this is a forest where the gods are sheltered.
Kutsura Shrine is dedicated to the god of agriculture and is one of the 27 shrines within IseJingu Naiku Shrine. As I passed through the entrance to the temple grounds, I heard the sound of leaves swaying in the wind and birds chirping, making it feel like I was entering another space.

Crispy! Mochi! Take a break with delicious warashibe taiyaki
“Taiyaki Warashibe” is a taiyaki specialty restaurant from Ise-Shima.
Crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside. The secret to the deliciousness that remains soft and fluffy over time lies in the carefulness of the ingredients and the baking method.
The flour used for the dough is Ayahikari from Mie Prefecture. Wheat is also a plant, so even within the same variety, the ingredients may differ depending on the year of production. Therefore, in order to deliver the same delicious taiyaki every year, we adjust the way we grind our wheat every year.
In addition, we adjust the temperature of the griddle according to the day's temperature, temperature, and kitchen environment, and cook the taiyaki to the best temperature that day. When I interviewed him, he said, ``While measuring the temperature of the iron plate with a thermometer, I make fine adjustments depending on the temperature and humidity of the day.I also value my own experience.''
It's no wonder that this "hand-baking technique" has repeatedly won the Monde Selection Silver Award.
We received the “Ready to Eat Limited Edition An Butter Taiyaki” and the “Black Sea Bream (Milk Chocolate)”!
``An Butter Taiyaki'' is made with freshly baked piping hot tsubu taiyaki topped with butter. The butter melts in your mouth the moment you put it in your mouth, and the salty butter adds to the red bean paste, making it really delicious!
``Normally, I don't like red bean paste because it's too sweet, but many customers say they can eat it with red bean butter,'' said a staff member at the store.
Also, black sea bream is surprisingly black! I even thought it was beautiful, and I couldn't help but say, ``It's beautiful!'' The combination of the crispy skin and the melted chocolate made it very delicious! Please try it once.

WataraiTown Course
This is a cycle route for beginners and intermediate riders with a total length of approximately 20 km, designed with the Taiheiyo Expressway in WataraiTown as its main axis.
Please refer to the route map here (official homepage).
The course runs along the Miyagawa River, which has been selected as the clearest stream in Japan, while enjoying both flat roads and slopes.
This time, I would like to introduce two places along the route.
If you want to enjoy fresh seafood, come here! Suzuki Fisheries
In addition to the main store in WataraiTown, Suzuki Suisan also has two stores (Suzuki Suisan and Marketeria) in the VISON complex in Taki Town, TakiTown, and ``Gourmet Conveyor Belt Sushi Suzuki Suisan'', which I regularly visit. This is a shop where
This time we interviewed the main store!
When you enter through Suzuki Suisan's noren curtains, you will find an aquarium area filled with many kinds of sea creatures, including fish, shellfish, octopus, and lobster. You can't help but let out a "wow" when you see how many of them there are and how lively they are.
Not only can you purchase the seafood in the tank, but you can also eat it inside the store or at the BBQ area.
Being able to eat freshly caught seafood on the spot is the ultimate luxury.
In the bright and clean dining area, you can enjoy meals made with fresh seafood from a wide variety of menus.
This time we had the "Deluxe Omakase Set Meal" and the "Tai Chazuke" recommended by the staff.
With the "Deluxe Omakase Set Meal", you can enjoy various sashimi, boiled and fried dishes depending on the season, and it was very luxurious!
In particular, the horse mackerel sashimi that was taken out of the fish tank and prepared after ordering was very chewy and I was very satisfied as I was able to enjoy the unique taste of this restaurant. In addition, the sea bream chazuke made with sea bream caught in Mie Prefecture had a soothing taste, with a gentle dashi stock and fresh sea bream that warmed the mind and body.
There are chairs and tables outside the store where you can enjoy meals and BBQ, so I think it would be nice to eat outside on a sunny day.

Enjoy fluffy pancakes at MiyaRiverWataraiPark ♪
The park, which has a total area of 12 hectares and spreads along the clear stream Miyagawa River, has a grassy field, a putting golf course, tennis courts, and a children's area, and is lined with beautiful cherry blossom trees in spring. A helicopter was also on display in the park.
In addition, there is a leisure pool facility called ``Play Pool Kagami'' with water slides, etc., a restaurant cafe where you can enjoy snacks and meals while looking out at the Miyagawa River, and ``Bazaar Watarai'' where you can buy local specialties and freshly harvested vegetables. This is a complex facility.

This time, I would like to introduce "Olive Cafe" located in Bazaar Watarai.
Everything on the menu looked stylish and delicious, from Western food like pasta and hamburgers to light meals like fries, desserts like pancakes, and take-out menus!
This time, I had the signature menu, "Angel Pancakes."
These pancakes are about 3cm thick and simply served with fresh cream and maple syrup.
The moment I took a bite, I could feel the flavor of the egg, and it was delicious even if I had it on its own. When eaten with lightly sweetened fresh cream, the gentle flavor spread throughout the mouth.
Fluffy yet filling! Great for replenishing your sweet tooth while cycling!
There are also seasonal menus and menus using special products from WataraiTown, so please take a look at the official website.

MinamiiseTown Course
This route is a cycle route for intermediate riders with a total length of approximately 10 km, designed around the Pacific Expressway in MinamiiseTown.
Please refer to the route map here (official homepage).
This course differs from TamakiTown and WataraiTown in that MinamiiseTown is a course that climbs a slope while enjoying the sea.
There are a lot of uphill climbs, but the observation deck offers a breathtaking panoramic view.
Also, the view of the mountains and sea turning red as the sun set was very beautiful!
This time, I would like to introduce one place from MinamiiseTowncourse, one place from the Expert Course route, and two places that extend further from the course as an extra part.
Overnight stay, BBQ, and spectacular views at Ukishima Park!
``Ukishima Park Nanto'' is a bungalow and auto camping facility, and you can also rent camping equipment, so you can enjoy the outdoors comfortably. Also, non-guests can also use the BBQ house!
On the day I interviewed, there were several groups of people staying overnight for the purpose of fishing.
The expert course is approximately 60km long and has many attractions, so we recommend staying in a bungalow and enjoying sunny road cycling over two days!
Here you will find the ``Ukishima Park Nanto Observation Deck'' managed by ``Ukishima Park Nanto''.
Even people other than facility users can go to the observation deck.
If you are going by car, the gate in front of the observation deck is closed, so please call the campsite reception and get the key.
If you are biking or walking, you can pass through from the side of the gate.
There is a long uphill climb (about 20 minutes walk) from the reception desk to the observation deck, but from the observation deck at the top, you can see the sunset over a 360-degree panoramic view of Minamijima Bridge, Asoura Bridge, UguraPark etc. It's done.
It is said that you can see Asoura fireworks during the summer.

Picking oranges in Naizeshizen Village!
The naize district of MinamiiseTown has been cultivating mandarin oranges since the Meiji era, and you can see many mandarin orange trees lined up on the mountain slopes.
At Naizeshizen Village, you can enjoy mandarin orange picking from the end of October to the end of January every year, and when we visited there were many people there with their families and friends.
The field where mandarin orange picking will be held is located next to the facility. Additionally, the road leading to the tangerine fields is paved and the tangerines are planted at a low location, making it suitable for children and people in wheelchairs.
So, grab your basket and scissors and start picking oranges! !
I was told, ``I recommend the one with the darker color on the back side of the tangerine,'' so I had a lot of fun choosing which one would be best. We also learned tips on how to cut mandarin oranges to make them last longer!
You can also eat freshly harvested oranges on the spot.
The moment you peel the skin, the refreshing scent of mandarin oranges spreads across your face. I couldn't help but stuff my mouth full! The mandarin oranges that had been exposed to a lot of sunlight had a strong flavor and were very sweet and delicious!
In addition to mandarin orange picking, Naizeshizen Village also sells mandarin oranges and specialty products such as mandarin orange juice, plum juice, and pickled plums. The 100% mandarin orange juice I drank in the middle of the mandarin orange field was cold, rich, luxurious, and very delicious!
Please come and enjoy the taste of freshly harvested mandarin oranges.

MinamiiseTown ~Extra Edition~
From now on, as an extra part, I would like to introduce a place that is a little further away from the cycle route.
It is a photogenic spot with spectacular views and interesting spots that will make you want to take pictures.
Please go as much as time allows!
Heart-shaped spectacular view ♡ UguraPark
UguraPark has four observation decks: Akebono Observation Deck, Kasaragi Observation Deck, Miejima Observation Deck, and Tachibana Observation Deck, where you can enjoy beautiful views of the ria coastline.
The scenery you see changes depending on the observation deck, so you can enjoy the luxurious view four times! Also, the colors of the sea and sky change depending on the time of day: morning, daytime, and evening, making it fascinating.
From the Miejima Observation Deck, which has been certified as a sacred place for lovers, you can see a heart-shaped cove, and there is a key stand where you can lock the heart-shaped key ``Ai Kagi.''
Aikey can be purchased at MinamiiseTown Tourism Association, inns in the city, and can also be found at the Naizeshizen Village introduced earlier.
Please click here for detailed sales locations.
When we visited, there were several families and couples coming to recharge their batteries! Since there are four observation decks, it might be a good point to be able to stagger your timing with other people.
There was also a cycle rack installed in the parking lot, but the path to the observation deck is a steep uphill climb, so if you are confident in your leg strength, please try climbing by bicycle.
By the way, there were both men's and women's restrooms, and they were clean inside.
Also, on the way back, I saw a family of deer, so if you're lucky you might be able to see them.

Spectacular 360 degree panoramic view! Nankai Observation Park
Nankai Observation Deck, which is approximately 150m above sea level, can be reached by entering Prefectural Route 722 from the Sunny Road Cycle Route Expert Course.
There are approximately 200 steps from the parking lot.
I got out of breath halfway up the stairs and when I looked back, I saw the blue ocean spreading out below the stairs, and it was so beautiful.
After taking a breather, I climb the rest of the stairs. When I arrived at the observatory park, what caught my eye was an object depicting a sailor. I was breathless, but I laughed at the indescribable form and face.
What the sailor was looking at was a huge 360-degree panoramic view! !
In the distance you can see the horizon stretching far into the distance, and nearby you can see the intricate ria coastline and the way the sun shines as it reflects off the water. In addition, Aiga Niwahama Beach, which has a beautiful curve, is just like Amanohashidate, one of the three most scenic spots in Japan!
The scenery that spread out before my eyes was very impressive.

It's like Salvation Mountain in California! ! A photogenic spot in Sazaraura!
A photogenic spot that I discovered by chance on my way to the Nankai Observatory! !
This is a private home, and they originally wanted to solidify the wall to prevent it from collapsing, so they took the opportunity to draw an illustration of it.
It is said to be similar to Salvation Mountain in California, USA, and has become a popular photo spot among young people.
My favorite shark object made me excited♪
"Yes, Shark!" Pasha♪
I can't list them all, but there were various illustrations such as sharks, rainbows, flowers, and stars!
I couldn't stop being excited and took lots of pictures, seeing the drawings pop out in 3D and the colorful colors used!
In fact, there were different illustrations written on top of the shark, and different illustrations were drawn depending on the side you looked at, so it was really fun to discover treasure chests one after another♪
This is a private home, so please be quiet when taking photos.

Thank you for reading until the end.
TamakiTown, WataraiTown, and MinamiiseTown each course had different scenery, and we had a lot of fun cycling!
