The Ise Hospitality Helper service was created in response to requests from people in wheelchairs who wanted to visit IseJingu. In February 2017, paid volunteers "Ise Hospitality Helpers," made up mainly of local residents, began providing services. Our trained and certified Ise Hospitality Helpers provide full support for your visit to IseJingu.

When visiting the shrine supported by Ise Omotenashi Helpers, you will use an ``electric wheelchair'' equipped with special tires. You can travel safely and securely on gravel roads that are difficult to navigate with regular tires.

Depending on the number of caregivers accompanying you, up to four Ise Hospitality Helpers will assist you up the stairs in front of the main shrine. If you would like to go up the stairs to visit the shrine on your own, we will accompany you and watch over you, lending you a shoulder or supporting your arm.We will respond flexibly according to your request.
