What is IseJingu?
IseJingu is officially called "Jingu".
The general name for 125 shrines and shrines is ``Jingu'', centered on Naiku, which enshrines Amaterasu Amaterasu-Omikami, the Japanese great ancestor deity, and Geku, which enshrines Toyouke-no-Omikami, the god of food, clothing, and shelter. ”.
There are seven places within IseJingu where there are amulets. After praying at IseJingu with your daily gratitude, receive the ``amulet'' and receive the blessings of the gods.
What is the difference between a talisman and an ofuda?
There are seven places within IseJingu where there are amulets, and you can also receive a divine talisman (Ofuda) at each shrine.
A talisman is a bag containing small amulets with wishes for health, good luck, warding off evil spirits, traffic safety, and other wishes.
It is believed that by wearing or carrying it on a daily basis, people can receive divine protection.
On the other hand, sacred cards are enshrined in shrines to protect homes, businesses, etc. The sacred talisman at the shrine is also called ``jingu cannabis,'' and the talisman received as a sign of worship is enshrined in the altar along with the talisman of the local guardian deity. .
Where is the shrine where you can receive an amulet?
Among the 125 shrines and shrines of IseJingu, there are seven that award amulets, and they are as follows.

At IseJingu, visitors can receive amulets according to their wishes.

・Good luck bell charm: A charm used to pray for good luck. The sound of a pure bell brings good luck.
- Academic amulet: A talisman used to pray for academic success and passing exams.

・Safe delivery charm: A charm used to pray for a safe delivery.
・Mamoriharai: A small sacred talisman kept inside an amulet.
・Umiyuki-mori: An amulet that prays for safety at sea and satisfaction with a big catch.

Kotaijingu (IseJingu Naiku Main Shrine)
` Kotaijingu' (Naiku) is the spiritual hometown of the Japanese people.
About 2,000 years ago, during the reign of Emperor Suinin, Kotaijingu has been located on the banks of the Isuzu River. It enshrines Amaterasu Omikami, the ancestor of the imperial family and revered by our people like Amaterasu-Omikami.
At Naiku, you can receive amulets at the Kaguraden conferring place within the Naiku shrine grounds.

Tsukuyomi Shrine (Kotaijingu Naiku Betsugu)
There are four Betsugu in the area, including Tsukuyomi Shrine. The deities enshrined are Tsukiyomi no Mikoto at Tsukuyomi Shrine, Tsukiyomi no Mikoto no Aramitama at Tsukuyomi Aramitama Shrine, and Izanagi no Mikoto at Isanagi Shrine. , Isanami Shrine is Izanami no Mikoto. Tsukuyomison is a younger brother deity of Amaterasu-Omikami and is the same deity enshrined at Geku Betsugu Tsukiyominomiya.
As it is written as ``reading the moon,'' it means that he is a god who teaches the phases of the moon and controls the calendar.
At Tsukuyomi Shrine, you can receive amulets at the Yadoya.

Takiharanomiya (Kotaijingu Naiku Betsugu)
Both Takiharanomiya-no-miya and Takihara-no-Nami-miya enshrine the spirit of Amaterasu-Omikami, and have been revered as ``miya shrines'' since ancient times.
Takiharanomiya has two separate Betsugu, Takiharanomiya and Takihara Namigu Shrine, which are located side by side, and has many features that differ from other Betsugu, such as the fact that it also has a Mifunakura.
Inside the shrine grounds, the approach path is surrounded by cedar trees that are over several hundred years old, and the Mitaraiba, which utilizes the flow of the river, is reminiscent of Naiku and transports you back to the days of the gods.
At Takiharanomiya, you can receive amulets at the Shukuemono shop.

Izawanomiya (Kotaijingu Naiku Betsugu)
Izawanomiya (Izawa Shrine) enshrines the spirit of Amaterasu-Omikami (Amaterasu Omikami Mitama) and is also called ``Izogu''.
Since ancient times, it has been revered as a ``farmiya shrine'', and locals have prayed for a rich harvest of seafood and mountain food.
The ``Umiyukimori'' is a talisman worn by fishermen and divers to protect themselves from going into the sea, and can only be found at Izawanomiya.
At Izawanomiya, you can receive amulets at the Yadoya.

Yamatohime-no-miya (Kotaijingu Naiku Betsugu)
Yamatohime-no-miya is located on Mt. Kurata, in the middle of the Miyuki road that connects Naiku and Geku, and is dedicated to Yamatohimenomikoto.
On the west side of the bright green Mt. Kurata, there are the Jingu Chokokan, the Agricultural Museum, the Art Museum, and the Jingu Bunko, and this area is called the ``Wahime Cultural Forest.''
At Yamatohime-no-miya, you can receive amulets at the Yadoueya.

Tsukiyominomiya enshrines Tsukiyomi no Mikoto and Tsukiyomi no Mikoto no Aramitama in one shrine building.
