1. What is “Nordisk Hygge Circles UGAKEI”?

"Nordisk Hygge Circles UGAKEI" is An outdoor field where you can enjoy camping and glamping in the rich nature of Uga Gorge, created in collaboration with Danish outdoor brand "Nordisk" and InabeCity, Mie Prefecture. is.

Nordisk Hygge Circles UGAKEI is located in Ugakei in InabeCity.

Ugakei has been selected by the Ministry of the Environment as a Satoyama Satoyama important for the conservation of biodiversity, and is home to a rich landscape of mountains, including the beautiful ridgeline of Mt. Ryugatake, six waterfalls of various sizes, and sand mountains that offer spectacular views from the observatory. The appeal is that you can enjoy nature.

2. Hygge CABIN, a cottage that looks like it came out of a fairy tale

The glamping area "Private CIRCLES" in Nordisk Hygge Circles UGAKEI has two beautifully designed cottages "Hygge CABIN" and eight Nordisk tent sites (the number of tents is 10 tensions).

Hygge CABIN is a two-story building with a living and dining room, kitchen, and bathroom on the first floor, and from the deck you can enjoy a panoramic view of the great nature of Ugakei.

The fan-shaped floorboards are also distinctive.
It seems that the shrine carpenters used advanced techniques to process the wood into trapezoidal shapes and combine them!
You can feel the attention to detail everywhere.

​The dining room features a table and chairs designed by Hans J. Wegner, a famous Danish designer who is said to have had a great influence on the 20th century Nordic design world.​
The warmth of wood and the sophisticated design match the cottage atmosphere.

In addition, the living room is equipped with a sofa from Carl Hansen & Son, a Danish furniture manufacturer with a history of over 100 years.
The well-coordinated space, including the furniture, is very comfortable and perfect for relaxing.

A spacious bedroom is located on the second floor up a spiral staircase.

There's a big skylight overhead!
During the day, soft light shines down on you, and at night, the stars twinkle.
Being able to enjoy the view of the sky while lying on a comfortable bed is the ultimate luxury.

3. “Hygge TENT” where you can enjoy Nordisk tents to the fullest

Private CIRCLES also has a deck site called ``Hygge TENT'' where you can stay in a Nordisk tent.

This time, we will introduce the site of "Midgard + Vimur"!
On this site, one large tent "Midgard" and two small tents "Vilm" are connected and installed on the largest deck of Nordisk Hygge Circles UGAKEI.​

It's a combination of three tents, so it's spacious and comfortable inside.
There are 3 beds and 1 cot (outdoor bedding) inside, so you can relax comfortably.

The safari chairs on each Hygge TENT site are from Carl Hansen & Son.
And if you look closely... it's an original product with the Nordisk logo!

Every detail has been devised so that you can enjoy a night in a tent while immersing yourself in the worldview of Nordisk.

At Hygge TENT, Nordisk tents of various types and shapes are installed, and you can choose which site you want to stay at when making a reservation.

The tents at all sites are outstanding in both design and functionality.

4. Locally produced and consumed dinner course enjoyed in a large tent

For dinner, you will enjoy a locally produced course meal supervised by a Danish outdoor cooking expert.
It is a luxurious course where you can enjoy fresh local vegetables, meat, and seafood with a variety of flavors such as charcoal, wood, and BBQ grills!

Dinner will be served at a wonderful venue that has been converted into a restaurant from Nordisk's large tent "Jotunheim."​
The spacious tent is very comfortable and you can enjoy your meal in a relaxed manner.

We use plenty of pesticide-free vegetables from Happu Farm in InabeCity.
You can enjoy seasonal vegetables.

The pork "Sakura Pork" from Mie Prefecture is grilled over charcoal prepared right in front of you.
The combination of the good aroma of charcoal, rosemary, and pork fat will whet your appetite♪

Dinner courses come with free drinks.

In addition to domestic natural wines, we have a rich lineup of Mie local sake.
We also have alcoholic beverages that can only be tasted here, such as Nordisk Hygge Circles UGAKEI original sake from Mie's sake brewery Hayakawa Sake Brewery.

I'm also happy that they have a wide selection of soft drinks, including juices made with Meyer lemons from Mie Prefecture and Inabe roasted green tea.

The main dish, roasted domestic beef, has a beautiful red meat.
It's packed with flavor and is so delicious that you want to enjoy it slowly.

Delicious locally produced food and a cozy space surrounded by a large tent are a perfect match.
It's sure to be a wonderful dinner time.

5. Enjoy bonfire time, the best part of camping

At night, you can enjoy a bonfire in the square "Marguerite" inside the facility. (For Private CIRCLES guests only)

Also pay attention to the bonfire stand with its distinctive design.
This is an original bonfire stand created by Masaya Ino, a bonfire master who also appeared in ``Matsuko's Unknown World''.

The silhouettes of people and animals illuminated by the bonfire are so cute that just looking at them is soothing.

6. Enjoy breakfast in a private space

For breakfast, you will enjoy a local Danish dish, ``Smørrebrød (open sandwich).''​

Gulp locally produced eggs, meat, and pesticide-free vegetables on rye bread from a local bakery.
It has a refreshing taste that is perfect for breakfast.

7. Center house “Culture CIRCLES”

The center house "Culture CIRCLES" is a symbolic building of Nordisk Hygge Circles UGAKEI.
It is located at the entrance to the field, and includes a reception desk and lounge.

Culture CIRCLES, like Hygge CABIN, was designed and designed by Third Nature.
The characteristic "circle" shape is based on the concept of Nordisk Hygge Circles UGAKEI, and it seems to have the meaning of "a universal shape that symbolizes equality and openness, and a place where people connect and gather."

The lounge has a high ceiling and an open layout.

In case of inclement weather, this will be the venue for dinner.
I'm glad that they've taken measures to make your stay comfortable regardless of the weather.

There is also a shop space at the reception, where various goods are sold.
In addition to Nordisk cups, tents, and chairs, there are also many local souvenirs such as delicious tea grown in the water flowing through Uga Gorge.
