What is “Papapa PARTY!”

"Papapa PARTY!", held as part of Boat Race Tsu's summer vacation project, is an experiential event that combines the latest technology and analog experiences with the theme of "sound". It's full of exciting, never-before-seen experiences that will tickle your curiosity and creativity.

This time, I was given special permission to interview on-site, so I would like to introduce you to the attractions that you can experience at Boatless Tsu "Papapa PARTY!", as well as the period and location of the event!

By the way, admission is free! *For those over 20 years old, a separate admission fee of 100 yen is required to enter the racecourse on days when Boat Race Tsu is held.

There are three attractions that you can experience at the "Papapa PARTY!" held this time at Boat Race Tsu. I will introduce them in order.

Poipoi paint

The familiar ball pool has evolved through the power of technology. When you throw a ball at the wall, various colors of paint (this is an effect) will scatter where it hits.

You might be lucky if you see a large piece of paint or a piece of paint with eyeballs.

The children were so excited to throw the ball and have so much fun!

Onomat Pe

Digital content that incorporates onomatopoeia (onomatopoeia) into play.

When you touch the huge mat spread on the wall, a cartoon-like sound effect will appear! It's a matte wall, so you don't have to worry about hitting it or bumping into it. You can move your body and have fun.

Various sound effects appear as letters and sounds, and you can attack monsters. Let's all defeat the monsters that jumped out from the manga.

Are you sure you'll keep hitting the monsters like crazy to defeat the monsters that keep appearing no matter how many times you defeat them?

Everyone's Voices

When you input your voice into the microphone, a unique fish will be created and swim across the screen based on the combination of the volume, length, and pitch of your voice!

Let's create various fish by changing the pitch and volume of the voice. An aquarium built with everyone's voices!

When you touch a swimming fish, it starts singing based on the recorded sound. Find the fish you made and touch it!

About the event date and time, admission fees, venue, etc.

Date and time

The event will be held from Saturday, July 22, 2023 to Sunday, August 20, 2023, and will be open every day of the year.

The hours are from 9:45 to 16:20, and each time is about 35 minutes (10 minutes x 3 attractions, 5 minutes change), and the capacity is about 45 people (about 15 people per attraction). There is a replacement system.

①9:45-10:20, ②10:25-11:00, ③11:05-11:40, ④11:45-12:20, ⑤12:25-13:00, ⑥13:05-13:40, ⑦13: 45-14:20, ⑧14:25-15:00, ⑨15:05-15:40, Final 15:45-16:20

As for admission, there is no need to apply in advance, and numbered tickets with admission times will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Admission fee

As mentioned at the beginning, it's free! However, those over the age of 20 will be required to pay an admission fee of 100 yen to the boat race course only on race days.

On the day of the interview, there were no races, so I was able to just go through the ticket gate.

Venue

The event will be held at the ``Boat Race Tsu 2nd Floor Exhibition Space'' (637 Fujikata TsuCity). The parking lot is free and can accommodate about 2,400 cars! Please refer to the following for access.
