[7 Tips for Photographing Theme Parks] I had fun while looking great at NinjaKingdomIse

“Tomoiki no NinjaKingdomIse” is located about 5 minutes by car from Meotoiwa(rocksofthemarriedcouple). Cityscapes, Edo gardens, and landscape bonsai are created with the theme of the Azuchi-Momoyama period. You can also enjoy things you can rarely experience, such as ninja costumes, shuriken, bow and arrows, and blowguns. This time, I will tell you what kind of things you can do to have fun, and as a photographer, you will never forget taking pictures! So, I will introduce NinjaKingdomIse while explaining how to take commemorative photos and how to make them look great, and I will also teach you 7 techniques to make them look great!

Introducing 7 techniques that can be used at theme parks

Not only do you want to enjoy your time as a ninja, but you also want to take a wonderful souvenir photo! So, I would like to introduce my experience and 7 techniques that will make you look great. This technique can be used not only at NinjaKingdomIse, but also at various theme parks, so it's a must-see for those who are interested in NinjaKingdomIse and those who are not!

It has to be a camera...? That's not true. There are also tips for taking pictures with your smartphone!

Let's enjoy NinjaKingdomIse wearing rental costumes

When you enter the park, the first thing you need to do is rent a kimono and ninja costume.
This time, the purpose is not only to have fun but also to look good, so this is essential.

This time, we rented a ninja costume.
There are two costumes to choose from, red and black, but this time I had them wear a red ninja costume.

[Brilliant technique No.1]

"Looking for commonalities between two different subjects"
As you can see in this photo, the costumes are red and black, and the buildings in the background also have a red and black color scheme. Making two different subjects have something in common makes it interesting.

Real RPG is authentic and interesting

An event called Real RPG was being held, so I joined it right away.

I can't give away spoilers, so I can't tell you much about it, but there is a special currency for quests and RPGs, and by talking to (or rather being able to talk to) the staff and playing competitive games and solving puzzles, the story progresses and the currency increases. To go.

It's a pretty serious RPG, and there are some parts that are difficult even for adults unless they get serious about it. By the way, we weren't able to make it to the finals lol.

It's fun, so please give it a try. There is so much content that you could spend a whole day just playing real RPGs.

[Brilliant technique No.2]

"If you take a commemorative photo where the color of your clothes matches the color of the background, you will stand out more."
The blue background goes well with the red costume.
The trick is to avoid taking pictures of your feet, as the color of the ground will come into the picture and create a cluttered image.

[Brilliant technique No.3]

"Express fun with facial expressions and poses"

For example, having fun! If you want to make this clear, just smile and do a dynamic pose. In this photo, it's a jump.

If you want to make it look like you are flying higher, have your child bend their knees.

[Brilliant Technique No.4]

"It will be cleaner if the subjects do not overlap as much as possible."

When taking commemorative photos, it will look better if you do not let the subjects overlap.
In the case of this photo, I made sure that the model and the torii gate did not overlap.
However, if you are too conscious of not overlapping and end up with facial expressions and poses that are not fun, you are putting the cart before the horse.

I also wanted to express fun, so I asked them to use their whole bodies in active poses, while compromising the overlap with the railing to some extent.

I tried throwing a shuriken

The pass is free and you can throw a shuriken once.

I thought they were going to put it in the palm of their hand and pay it off, but it turns out that's not the case. I got the impression that it was surprisingly easy to throw using the method I was taught. The image is similar to darts.

[Brilliant Technique No.5]

"Slow the shutter speed to express movement"
By slowing down the shutter speed at the moment you throw the shuriken, you can create movement by letting your hand hang.
The specific speed is 1/100 second.

Some people may think, "You can't do that with a smartphone!", but you can do manual settings using an app called Lightroom.

Although it is originally a photo editing app, you can launch Lightroom Camera by long-pressing the icon on the home screen.

When the camera starts up, tap ① "Auto" and you can choose between AUTO and Professional, so select ② "Professional".
Next, tap ③ "SS AUTO" and ④ "Adjust by sliding" to adjust the shutter speed.
As a side note, SS is an abbreviation for Shutter Speed.

I tried shooting a bow and arrow

The pass allows you to shoot one game of bow and arrow for free.

Unlike shuriken, this one was difficult. I couldn't hit the mark lol
Even a bow and arrow of this size required quite a bit of pulling power.

The appeal of NinjaKingdomIse is that you can easily experience things that you cannot experience on a daily basis.

[Brilliant Technique No.6]

"You can improve your photography by simply keeping it level."
In fact, just doing this will improve your photography.
It is difficult to make it horizontal, but it can serve as a guideline in places where there are many horizontal and vertical objects, such as inside a building.
Recently, there are some smartphones and cameras that can display a level, so it's a good idea to use those.

This time, I kept it level by making the pillars in the back vertical.
The trick is to use the vertical thing in the middle as your reference. If you make the column on the right vertical, the entire photo will tilt, so be careful.

Describing the techniques for leveling in detail would take up an entire article, so I will not introduce them here, but all I want to do here is to let you know that taking photos horizontally will improve your photography. .

A game of gambling in a ninja costume!? A situation where information is jammed

Ding and half gambling can be said to be a representative form of gambling.

Of course, we use the currency exclusive to NinjaKingdomIse here, so you can play without having to bet real money.

A simple game where you roll two dice and see if the total number is odd or even.
We lost quickly lol

[Brilliant Technique No.7]

"Blur out the background to make the subject stand out"

When you widen the aperture (also known as F value) (set it to a small number), the area in focus becomes narrower and blur becomes more likely.

It will be difficult to focus, but the background and foreground will be blurred, making the model stand out.
In this case, I was conscious of focusing on the model and the tag with the word "Ding" written on it, and opened the aperture wide enough to blur the background.

summary

I enjoyed things I wouldn't normally experience, such as ninja costumes, real RPGs, shuriken, bow and arrow, and chopsticks!

By the way, it was raining that day, so some attractions such as Ninja Forest Adventure were not open.
Also, Azuchi Castle will not be accessible until September 29th due to construction on the outer walls of Azuchi Castle.

We also have reports on the situation on sunny days and the projection mapping at night, so please take a look at those as well.
