What kind of campsite is "ASOBINO"?

"ASOBINO" in TaikiTown, Mie Prefecture is a campsite that is limited to 8 groups per day! A river flows beside the site, allowing you to spend a quiet time surrounded by nature. In addition, the grounds are lined with autumn leaves, and autumn leaves camping is recommended for the coming season!

Only 8 groups are allowed per day, so you can enjoy nature in peace. Also, you can rest assured that the center house is close to all sites. There are 6 sites with power supply (sites A to F) and 2 free sites (without power), which are popular with solo campers, for a total of 8 sites.

There are also sites that allow camping with pets! First, we will introduce the features of each site!

Section introduction

Each "ASOBINO" website has its own characteristics, so please refer to them when making reservations!

The divided sites have electricity from A to F, and the usage fee is included in the site fee. Although the free site does not have a power supply, the usage fee is lower accordingly.

Another nice feature is that there are passageways between each site! By the way, open fires are prohibited on all sites. Please use the bonfire stand when starting a bonfire.

Pets are allowed in section sites A and B!

Sites A and B are higher than the other sites and allow camping with pets. Apparently there are many people who book A and B as a group.

Section sites C and D are closest to the river and center house!

Parcel sites C and D are the closest to the center house. There are also stairs leading down to the river nearby, making it recommended for families with small children. By the way, the site I used this time was Site D.

In addition, in Site C and Site D, in addition to the plots, you can also use the shaded space under the autumn leaves, so you can use the site more widely. It's also nice to relax in a hammock in the shade of a tree!

Sites E and F are recommended for those who want to spend time quietly admiring the river and nature.

The view of the river from this site is even more calm, with the surface of the water barely trembling and as calm as a lake. You can enjoy nature to the fullest along with the forest on the other side of the river.

There are 2 free sites!

There are two free sites: one on the river side and one on the road side. Even though it is on the road side, there is almost no traffic so it doesn't bother me. The free site seems to be popular with solo campers, so if you want to spend some time relaxing while looking at the quiet river, choose the river side!

If you want to enjoy autumn leaves camping on a free site, please choose the road side! There is a large tree with autumn leaves here, so you can spend your time in the shade in the summer, and in the autumn you can enjoy a stylish camping experience while looking at the bright red autumn leaves!

The river flowing next to the "ASOBINO" site is truly expressive! You can enjoy different scenery depending on the season and the viewing angle. The river is calm, so you can enjoy swimming in the river in the summer. There are also many creatures such as birds and fish that live along the river.

Facility introduction

From here, we will introduce the facilities of "ASOBINO". The management room, kitchen, toilets, etc. are all located in the center house.

The reason why “ASOBINO” is preferred by family camps is because of its clean toilets! This is a rare campsite toilet where shoes are not allowed, and it is always kept clean. There are two toilets, one for men and women and one for women, and the inside is also spacious so you can take your children with you! There was also an auxiliary toilet seat for children! There's also a mirror and an outlet, so you can use your hair dryer.

The kitchen is on the left side facing the center house. It also has a roof, so you don't have to worry about it even on rainy days. There's hot water and you can also use the shower, so it's convenient for washing your feet after playing in the river, or washing a large pot or griddle!

We also sell firewood

Firewood is also sold at the center house. There are both coniferous and broadleaf trees. Please use this service when you forget your firewood or when you run out of firewood while starting a bonfire.

It seems that the shower room is currently being prepared! The shower fee is apparently included in the site usage fee, so be sure to give it a try once it's completed!

``Aso Onsen'' is located within the comprehensive facility ``Aso Yu no Sato'', which is located 5 minutes by car from ``ASOBINO''. "Aso Yu no Sato" is a facility that used the former Aso Elementary School, and sells not only "Aso Onsen" but also processed products and crafts made using seasonal vegetables and local ingredients carefully grown by local farmers. There is also a ``Farm Direct Sales Shiki no Mise Shunsai''.
