Spreading the charm of nature in Mie Prefecture! [Mie Travel Ambassador] TAKA

Through mountain climbing, which is both my hobby and special skill, I will be introducing the unknown charms of the natural environment that Mie Prefecture is proud of!

self-introduction

My name is TAKA and I am working as a Mie Travel Ambassador.

The site introduces information about Mie Prefecture's mountains in the form of experiential reports that will make even people who have never climbed a mountain think, "I'd like to try that!", while also promoting the area's attractions (such as local specialties and recommended shops).

We are mainly active in the mountains and cities in the central to southern part of Mie Prefecture, and we will do our best to bring you information that will help you discover new things about Mie Prefecture, such as the local culture!

1. Introducing the "hajikami Pass Road" route, which has a great view of the ocean

The Kumano Kodo is a World Heritage Site that Mie Prefecture is proud of and is known even to foreigners.

Among the many routes, we have introduced "hajikami Pass Road" because it has beautiful scenery!

We will also be sharing our experience of walking the route.

2. A must-see for those who want to enjoy a different kind of mountain climbing! Introducing a spectacular route around Shakagatake

We introduce recommended routes that go around Shakagatake, which is popular among climbers.

I have climbed the mountains in the Suzuka Mountains many times, but this route is one of the top five with beautiful views and a very pleasant walk, so please feel free to give it a try.

3. How about a "power spot mountain climb" that involves climbing O-Onigura, a huge rock formation nestled deep in the mountains of Kumano, and Omote-Tankura, which offers a great view?

Deep in the mountains of KumanoCity in southern Mie Prefecture, there are several mysterious giant rocks.

This article introduces a walk through one of these places, called "Onigura /Omote Takura," a well-known location in the region.

It's an easy place to walk even for beginners, so I hope you'll check it out.
