Looking forward to the ``sea'' of Toba, I went to play with my best friend, an 8-year-old and a 5-year-old brother and sister, and my mom!

First, depart from Toba Marine Terminal on a pleasure boat!

There are various types of sightseeing boats for touring Toba Bay, and you can't wait to see which boat you can ride!

The ship is spacious and you can sit wherever you like. There are bench-type seats where you can sit facing the window, and box seats that can accommodate a large number of people comfortably.

You can also step out onto the open deck and enjoy the fresh air. When we went outside, we saw a lot of seagulls flying around the boat!

We arrived at Dolphin Island in about 15 minutes! Dolphin Island is a spot where you can enjoy petting dolphins, dolphin shows, and sea lion shows.

When you pass through the gate, you will find dolphins in a large aquarium! The sight of them swimming leisurely is soothing.

Let's try out "Dolphin Touch" where you can touch cute dolphins at close range, and "Dolphin Snacks" where you can feed the dolphins! The zookeeper will give you easy-to-understand explanations on how to handle the dolphins and how to feed them.

"Dolphin Touch" is open to elementary school students and above, so I asked my older brother and mom to try it out!

Touch gently! How does it feel to touch the back of a dolphin for the first time? "It's smooth!" "It's like the skin of a watermelon!" they both exclaimed with excitement. Some people say that it feels like rubber and that it looks like an eggplant. It feels like eggplant...I'm curious!

Next, try the “dolphin snack”! This is a game that even small children can enjoy without any age restrictions. Gently drop fish such as horse mackerel or mackerel into the dolphin's mouth.

After enjoying Dolphin Island to your heart's content, board the pleasure boat again! This time, we will take a slightly longer tour around Toba Bay while enjoying the scenery. Order a drink at the onboard cafe and take a breather.

In addition to drinks, the cafe also sells soft-serve ice cream and snacks, so you can spend a relaxing time while eating and drinking. After enjoying a cruise around Toba Bay for about 40 minutes, you will arrive at Toba Marine Terminal!
The sightseeing boat was a bit of an adventure, and we even got to interact with cute dolphins up close! "Toba Bay Tour and Dolphin Island" was a spot where not only children but also adults could make new discoveries!
