Travel back in time to the Sengoku period at "NinjaKingdomIse (formerly Ise Azuchi-Momoyama Castle Town)"!

NinjaKingdomIse is a recreation of the townscape from 400 years ago. This is a huge theme park where you can experience the culture and people's lives of the time!

In March 2019, the name was changed from "Ise Azuchi-Momoyama Castle Town" to "NinjaKingdomIse."

I went there because I heard that you can enjoy various experiences and delicious food! Let me introduce you in detail.

Let's enter now! The name of this gate is "Sengoku daimon".

It's a name that suddenly makes you feel good♪

Before strolling around the castle, it has undergone a makeover befitting the Sengoku period! The rental fee for this transformation set is included in the admission fee. Let's fully enjoy the Sengoku period! You can freely choose from ninja costumes and three types of kimonos. Of course, there are also ones for men.

NinjaKingdomIse is located on the hillside of a mountain.

The large park is divided into three levels, and the first level is the one after passing through the entrance gate. Start your walk from the first floor!

This cool lady showed me around the ``Azuchi Castle Gambling Place''. It's a serious game with wooden cards at stake. I would like to try it out right away!

Among the various games, the most popular is ``Chouhanbakuchi.'' It's a game where you throw two dice and guess whether the sum of the numbers is odd or even. Remember that an even number that is exactly divisible is called ``ding'', and an odd number that is not evenly divisible is called ``han''!

The rules are simple so even children can enjoy it. It's great to see the number of wooden cards increase as you win ♪ I lost track of time and got so excited!

Next, I would like to go to the "Iga Ninja Magic House" next to the gambling hall mentioned earlier. I'm excited to see what kind of mechanism it is. The children who came to visit seemed to be having fun too!

Wow, I can't maintain my sense of balance at all!

The walls and floor are so sloping that it's difficult to walk straight.

Villagers from the Azuchi-Momoyama period work not only in the buildings but also in each facility. The clothes are still the same, and you really feel like you're in that era.

Next we tried shuriken!

I was taught how to hold and throw the ball, and I started putting it into practice.

Yay! ! You might think it's easy, but it's surprisingly difficult!

I had to throw it straight to get it to stick, but after practicing a few times I was able to do it.

I'm hungry after playing so much, so let's go eat! One of the attractions of NinjaKingdomIse is definitely the food!

There are 13 restaurants lined up in the ``gourmet town'' that are particular about the ingredients used, and you can enjoy authentic meals at specialty restaurants such as Matsusaka beef and Iga beef yakiniku, ramen using KumanoJidori(TheLocalBrandChicken), and live eel kabayaki. Yes.
This time, I went to ``Charcoal-grilled Seafood Gassen Dairyokuro''.

Locally caught oysters, giant clams, and other fresh seafood are piled high on the plate!
Enjoyed it luxuriously over charcoal! It's very delicious and I'm very satisfied♪

Now that you're full, let's move on to the second layer. You can go to each layer by bus that goes around the castle.

This is the "Ninja Karakuri Maze". It is a maze where you cannot get out unless you pass through 11 mechanisms.

Oops, I found a hidden door!

I got lost many times, but I managed to escape!

This splendid building is the Nyanmage Theater. You can watch a movie where Nyanmage plays an active role!

Finally, we arrived at Azuchi Castle, the symbol of NinjaKingdomIse, located on the third floor.

It is a huge castle that is a faithful reproduction of the castle tower actually built by Oda Nobunaga, and boasts a height of 43 meters. Its spectacular appearance is both elegant and impressive!

The seventh floor of the castle tower is the Golden Room, which is covered in gold leaf. You can feel like a feudal lord when you are in a luxurious room.

From the observation floor, you can see the cityscape of IseCity and the sea. The view is breathtakingly beautiful.

By the way, there are footprints like this all over the castle. Places where there are footprints are great spots to take photos, so be sure to look for them. There is also one near the entrance of Azuchi Castle!

Even so, the footprints are so big...whose footprints are they?

One of the attractions of NinjaKingdomIse is the powerful drama that unfolds right in front of your eyes.

This is a powerful action scene from "Great Ninja Theater." There were laughs throughout the story, which I couldn't take my eyes off of, and I had a great time.

This is "Yamada Magistrate's Office". This is a popular play in which the actors comically portray the famous judgment of Echizen Ooka.

The person on the left, wearing a gray kimono, is Yasu Saito, the star of NinjaKingdomIse.

After the play, the actors who appeared will be available for commemorative photos!

First up is Nyanmage's Chocolate Crunch, the mascot character of NinjaKingdomIse.

The bath is right near Sengoku daimon. The hot springs are ``highly concentrated ion springs'' containing a high concentration of carbon dioxide gas, and are also called ``heart baths'' in Europe, where carbonated springs are popular as a traditional medicine.
By taking a relaxing bath, your blood circulation will improve and you will feel your mind and body relaxing!
