Why not experience an Instagram-worthy cross bike trip in Ise-Shima, a popular tourist area in Mie Prefecture? We invited a couple to experience the spectacular views of IseJingu and Shima on a Bianchi rental bicycle!

Ise-Shima is one of the most popular tourist areas in Mie Prefecture.

Why not take a trip around Ise-Shima's spectacular views and popular spots on a stylish Bianchi bicycle that is sure to look great on Instagram? We asked a couple to experience a bicycle trip on a rental bicycle!

A trip around Ise-Shima by rental bicycle is

① Half-day course around IseJingu
②There are two one-day courses that take you through the spectacular scenery of Shima.
First of all, I will introduce you to the half-day course ①♪

At 10:00 a.m., we will gather at AMAMILIVING, a 5-minute walk from the JR side of IseCity Station, and receive a brief explanation of today's event. Today we will ride this bicycle and spend about 3 hours, taking breaks, touring three locations: IseJingu (Geku), the streets of Kawasaki, and IseJingu (Naiku).

This is my companion for today's trip, a type of bicycle called a ``cross bike'' made by an Italian manufacturer called Bianchi. It is lighter and more nimble than the so-called mamachari, but you can ride it with the same feeling as a mamachari.

The light green color looks very Instagrammable♪
First of all, we will aim for Geku of IseJingu, which is about 5 minutes away by bicycle!

We arrived at Geku in no time. It was their first time riding a cross bike, but they seemed to get used to it quickly.

There is a bicycle parking lot, so you can park your bicycle and visit the shrine!

I have been visiting the shrine regularly. Depending on the requests of the participants, you can adjust the time to walk around the spots you stopped at.

Next, we will depart for Kawasaki.

10 minutes by bicycle. We have arrived at Kawasaki, which has a beautiful Edo-period townscape.
This Kawasaki district developed into a large wholesale district during the Edo period, using water transport from the Setagawa River that flows through the town, and the beautiful townscape still remains today.

I took a walk and felt the old-fashioned atmosphere.
It's fun to stop by the stylish cafes and general stores!

While looking at the Setagawa River, we set off for our final destination, Naiku of IseJingu!

It takes about 30 minutes to cycle. We arrived safely at Naiku.
The Ise edition ends here, we return our bicycles and disperse at Naiku. The journey takes approximately 3 hours from 10:00 to 13:00. Since we arrived at noon, please enjoy eating while walking around Okage-yokocho, buy souvenirs, and enjoy sightseeing in Ise♪

IseJingu can be very crowded depending on the day, both by car and public transportation. If you go on a bicycle trip, you won't have to worry about traffic jams, and you'll get some exercise, so you can kill two birds with one stone!

By the way, by cycling for about 40 minutes in total today, I burned about 250 kcal (for a person weighing 50 kg). You can enjoy eating while walking without worrying! !

Now, let me introduce you to the ``1-day course that takes you through Shima's spectacular scenery.''

The Shima section departs from Kintetsu Ugata Station. The Shima version is a one-day course from 8:00 to 17:00. Spend a day visiting Shima's spectacular views and popular spots. The location of the stop can be adjusted based on the customer's wishes.

In addition to the guide who accompanies the tour, this course also has a support car always waiting nearby to help you take breaks and hydrate at any time! It's safe even for those who aren't very good at exercise!

Now, my request for today's destination is "I want to see a lot of the beautiful Shima sea!" Let's leave now!

The first place I headed to KoushirahamaBeach. About 35 minutes by bicycle from Ugata Station. It is popular as a place where you can enjoy surfing on the white sandy beach.

The beautiful sea and sky will get you excited! !

Touring through the spectacular scenery. The bike moves easily, so it feels great to cut through the wind!

On this day in November, there are surfers in the sea. There was also a couple walking their dog on the sandy beach.

You may not often go to the beach outside of the summer, but on sunny days in the fall or winter, it's nice to look out at the ocean while listening to the sound of the waves.

Next, we headed to anori Shrine. It takes about 35 minutes by bicycle from KoushirahamaBeach.

It is also the venue for the anori Puppet Show, which is a nationally designated important intangible folk cultural property. The anori Puppet Show is a traditional performing art with a history of over 400 years, dating back to the Azuchi-Momoyama period, and is held on September 15th and 16th every year.

In this Shima version course, you can operate the karakuri dolls that are actually used in this "anori Puppet Show"!

I stopped my bicycle and went to worship.

And these are Karakuri dolls. It's a rare opportunity to see up close the actual puppets used in the anori Puppet Show, which has been designated as an Important Intangible Folk Cultural Property. You can even actually control the dolls!

A commemorative photo taken with the bicycle.

Discover something interesting! They were selling bicycle traffic safety charms, which are named after the character `` anori'' which means ``to ride'' and ``safe''! Looks like it will be a good souvenir of your cycling tour♪

After purchasing the amulet, it was time for lunch. Lunch is also included in the Shima tour.
Your expectations are high as to what kind of lunch it will be!

Shazam! What a gorgeous lunch!

For lunch, instead of a bento box, you will be guided to a carefully selected local popular restaurant. It's nice to be guided to delicious restaurants recommended by locals without having to search for them yourself.

This is "Anori Fugu," a tiger puffer fish that is certified as a Mie brand. It is characterized by its firm texture produced by its firm flesh, and its sweetness and flavor that melts in your mouth. It's so luxurious to be able to enjoy a luxurious lunch of blowfish!

I exercised all morning, so let's eat our fill!

*Lunch contents vary depending on the season.

Once we were satisfied with the delicious meal, we headed to our next destination!

After about 50 minutes by bicycle from anori district where we had lunch, we arrived at Izonoura.
The breeze from the sea is refreshing and feels great♪

There is a bicycle-only road here, so you can enjoy cycling without worrying about cars. There are benches and toilets, so it's convenient for you to take a break.

The Shima arc is almost at its end. While looking at the beautiful sea, we headed towards our final destination, Ugata Station.

It took about 35 minutes by bicycle from Izanoura, and we arrived at Ugata Station around 17:00!
When we asked the two people who experienced the cycling tour what they thought of the day, they said,
``The bike went smoothly, it felt good, and it was fun!'' He said that he thoroughly enjoyed the bicycle trip.

When you hear that you have to cycle around all day long, you might think it's going to be physically demanding, but don't worry, we'll take breaks and strolls depending on your needs!

Rather, you may be able to refresh both your mind and body by moving your body and looking at the spectacular scenery.

By the way, I didn't go there that day, but if you have the time and energy, I recommend visiting Yokoyama Observatory. It quickly became a popular spot as it offers a panoramic view of Kashiwajima Island, where the 2016 IseShimaSummit was held.

Recently, there seem to be many people visiting from overseas. Why not stop by ♪
