Did you know that there are spots in KawagoeTown and ToinTown that you can enjoy with your family for free? KawagoeTown is home to Kawagoe Electric Power Center Terra 46, where you can learn about electricity, energy, and life. You can enjoy games, attractions, and theaters, and it's also perfect for independent research. ToinTown has a large site with lots of play equipment and rich nature where you can get plenty of exercise. There are also plenty of facilities such as barbecues and park golf, so you can feel safe even playing for a long time. We will introduce two places that are perfect for families!

First, I came to KawagoeTown.

Kawagoe Electric Power Building Terra 46 is located along the coast of KawagoeTown.
At this electricity museum, whose theme is ``Coexistence and the Future of People and the Earth,'' you can learn about how energy and daily life relate to each other while understanding that the earth's energy resources are not limitless.
The majestic large earth-shaped building is the landmark! I'm so excited to see what's inside!

The exhibition hall has a seven-story structure, and each floor has a different theme, so you can take your time and enjoy it.
From the 3rd floor with a spaceship theme to the most popular theater on the 5th floor, there's plenty to see!
Outside is ``Isewan Geoland,'' which is modeled after the topography of Ise Bay, and you can hear happy voices.

When you enter the facility, the first thing you do is create your own card.
After entering your name, gender, etc., take a look at your face with the camera in front of the monitor!
You can create your own card in no time and use it multiple times at the games and attractions within the facility.

``Wonder Machine'' on the third floor is a theater themed around a spaceship traveling to Earth. The realistic images make you feel like you are actually on a spaceship!
The videos that teach you about the 4.6 billion year history of the Earth and the importance of the global environment are different depending on odd and even months, so you can enjoy them even when you visit again.

The 4th floor has a theater and a wide variety of brain games.
At the Summit Studio in the center, the robots Mix-kun and Best-kun will act as moderators and talk about ways to save the Earth from various crises together with unique leaders. etc. While discussing this with the whole family, if you agree with the method to save the Earth, press the button at hand!
Elementary school students can enjoy learning about global warming and energy through easy-to-understand videos.

Inside the museum, various areas have been designed to be easy for elementary school students to understand.
The quiz-style display and various types of globes explain things like population and energy consumption in an easy-to-understand manner, and the kids are intrigued!

On the 5th floor, there are games where you answer quizzes by moving left and right while looking at a panel, and an interactive game where you touch and erase objects that affect global warming that fall from above on a screen that has been moved to a monitor. A popular floor where you can move your body a lot. With the keyword "ECO training", you can enjoy learning about the environment and energy.
Also, at the Kawagoe Electric Power Museum, simple experiments called ``Wagon Experiments'' are held every Saturday on various floors, and are very popular with children.

``Hyper Theater'' is very popular with children, where you can use the touch panel to draw, color, and take part in quizzes to learn about electricity and the environment.
In the ``Let's Design Sea Life'' experience, a large monitor displayed the fish that the children had colored themselves, and the children were pointing their fingers and singing along!
There are many other programs, so you can enjoy it no matter how many times you come. It is also popular with small children.

From the observation deck on the 7th floor, you can see 360 degrees of the surrounding area of KawagoeTown.
It is a communication space where the whole family can enjoy looking at the cityscape of KawagoeTown and the power plant facilities, so let's all enjoy the magnificent scenery!

“Isewan Geoland”, which you can see from the observation deck, is actually a very large square when you walk through it! The bottom is made of soft material, so small children can run around with energy.
At the Kawago Electric Power Museum, we offer "Power Plant Experience Tours" on Sundays and public holidays, where you can also tour the Kawagoe Thermal Power Plant, and once or twice a month we hold craft classes that you can enjoy for free.
Kawagoe Electric Power Center Terra 46 is a place where you can enjoy learning about energy, the environment, and the earth. Why not come and have fun with your family at this facility where you can have plenty of fun?

Now, we will arrive at ToinTown. What kind of fun spots are waiting for you?

Chubu Park, located about 6 minutes by car from Aeon Mall Toin, is a popular park where you can play to your heart's content while enjoying nature!
You can enjoy recreation and sports on the lawn that stretches out in your field of view, or have a picnic after shopping, or have a fun time with your family.

Chubu Park is surrounded by nature, where you can get up close to rivers and trees, and you can find insects and fish.
It's fun to observe the wide variety of plants that can be seen in each season!

Enjoy park golf amidst lush greenery!
Clubs and balls can be rented out for 100 yen per person at the park golf corner in the lawn area, so feel free to try your hand at golf. Even children who have never played golf can shoot the ball powerfully!
Aim for a hole in one? !

There are 27 holes in the course: Junior Course, Peony Course, and Ume Course, and the Junior Course is free for anyone to use.
Other courses are 500 yen for adults and 200 yen for junior high school students and younger (excluding golf equipment fees), and there are plenty of discount tickets and one-day tickets available.

A large connecting bridge leading to the play area leads to the shallow Togami River, which is crowded with children playing in the water in the summer.
You can also see hydrangeas in mid-June, and the view from the bridge is spectacular!

The "Play Plaza" that opens up as you cross the connecting bridge is very popular!
Climb up, down, and slide on the large playground equipment, including athletics and slides!
The kids can't stop being excited.

When you climb to the highest point of the play equipment, it reaches a height of 10 meters!
There is an observation deck at the top, and the refreshing view is a must-see. If your child is confident about heights, why not try the 7.2m high and 52cm long roller slide that can be accessed from the next floor down?
The slide was so thrilling and fun that there was a line of children waiting to go down it over and over again!

We also have small play equipment that even small children can enjoy.
You'll definitely be in a good mood going down the slide or taking a walk with mom, dad, older sisters, and older brothers!

After playing a lot, take a break in the shade of a tree.
Chubu Park also has barbecue facilities that can be used throughout the year (excluding the year-end and New Year holidays), so you can have a fun barbecue in the midst of nature.
There are two types of usage fees: 1,000 yen and 1,500 yen per plot, and reservations can be made from 90 days in advance. (Advance reservation required)

The facilities and plazas cater to a wide range of ages, and you can see the smiles of lively children.
Please come and visit Chubu Park, where the whole family can exercise to their heart's content and fully enjoy nature.
