When many people hear the YokkaichiCity, they probably think of the impressive Yokkaichi Port industrial complex and the cityscape.

However, there are also plenty of spots where you can play in nature, such as moving your body in a lush green area or relaxing and interacting with animals!

This time, we invited a 1st grade elementary school student, his 4-year-old brother, and his mom who want to play with energy to play at two spots: "YokkaichiCityFureai-Farm" and "Yokkaichi Sports Land"!

First, let's go to YokkaichiCityFureai-Farm.
Here you can see and interact with adorable and cute animals.

As you walk towards the store from the parking lot, you will see a ``Small Animal Play Area'' with goats, sheep, ponies, miniature pigs, and more. Children will be excited to see the animals up close! I approach it and call out its name.

You can purchase feed sold at the cowshed and feed it to the goats and sheep, or you can go inside and interact with the sheep and mini pigs directly.

Next, try your hand at milking a Jersey cow in the cowshed!
The children were a little nervous as they approached the large cow, but the cow was calm, so they felt safe.

Today's cow was 4-year-old Tyrol, who is said to have a gentle personality. First, I gently stroke it to say "Nice to meet you!"

And let's milk the milk! The staff will sit next to you and show you how to squeeze it.

The children were surprised to hear how warm the cow's milk was when they touched it for the first time. I got the hang of it and was able to squeeze it out well!

Butter making is also a popular experience.

As you continue shaking, the liquid cream will gradually become thick and solid.

As I continued to shake it even harder, I could hear the sound of water popping from inside! This is proof that the lumps from earlier have separated into water and butter.

When you hear this sound, it's ready! Homemade butter with a rich milk flavor is now ready.
You can take the butter you make home with you if you bring a cooler bag.

At the shop, you can also buy milk and yogurt produced by Yokkaichi Dairy Farm.

The recommended item here is the milk soft serve ice cream (350 yen), which is filled with fresh milk.

It has a rich milky taste and is very delicious! It seems that many customers come to eat this.

The children are also happily enjoying it♪

There is also a pavilion on the sloped lawn area where you can take a break, and you can also play with the cute cow-shaped playground equipment.

In front of you, you can see the lush green tea plantations, industrial complexes, and Ise Bay!

Yokkaichi Sports Land is located about 5 minutes by car from YokkaichiCityFureai-Farm.

A spot where you can enjoy indoor and outdoor activities filled with nature, such as athletic courses and super slides.

First, experience the athletic course built in the mountains, which is about 1.2 km long and has 30 points of wooden play equipment! There are ups and downs, so you can feel like you are trekking.
When you experience it, it feels like it's much longer than 1.2km! ?

Once you pass the start sign, the course begins! !

Wooden play equipment comes in a variety of types and difficulty levels.
Clear the first “crossing stick” easily!

There is a variety of activities that are full of curiosity, such as ``Tsunawari Rope'' where you cross trees by changing ropes one after another, ``Wall Climbing'' with colorful stones, and ``Wave Net'' where you go through a net and climbing up. Try the new play equipment!

Young children can also choose challenges according to their level of difficulty.
However, if you are with an adult, most of the play equipment is flat!

This is the ``Sky Floor'' where you walk along a wooden path lined up with gaps between each other.

On the way, Mom was a bit nervous, saying, ``I can see the bottom through the gap in the trees!'' It's quite a thrill even for adults.

This athletic course is enjoyable not only for families with children but also for adults, and a lap around the up-and-down course will keep you warm even in winter.
It's good exercise while having fun.
In the past, there was even someone who completed seven laps around this course!

The “hanging ropeway” is very popular with children.
The sensation of sliding down is so addictive that you'll want to try it again and again.

Along the athletic course, there is also a ``Nakayoshi Square'' where three dinosaur play equipment will welcome you.

Children are excited to see the large and realistic dinosaurs!
Recommended for a short break. Once you clear the course, you will feel a sense of accomplishment! The children also seemed to have fun with the thrilling play equipment, which was different from the usual parks.

This is a "super slider" that slides down a winding course with a total length of 150m.
It's like a roller coaster and extremely exhilarating! You can adjust the speed with the bar at hand, so you can enjoy it at your favorite speed.
