A trip to Ise-Shima starting from IseCity Station! I visited popular spots in one day♪

For those traveling around the Ise-Shima area by car or train, we recommend the "IseCity IseCity Station! Get tourist information and enjoy Ise-Shima to the fullest!

In addition to providing information on recommended sightseeing spots, they also have a wide selection of pamphlets and maps of Ise-Shima. There is a nursing room on site, and wheelchairs are available for free rental. I have gathered information and am fully prepared. Now, let's go out into town!

If you use a car from JR IseCity Station, you will arrive at IseJingu / Naiku in about 10 minutes. After parking your car at a nearby parking lot and finishing your visit to the shrine, you can start walking around Oharai-Machi!

The first stop was the closest souvenir shop to Naiku, Ise Naiku Mae Iwatoya.

The first thing that surprises you when you enter the store is how spacious it is. There is a wide variety of products, including special products unique to Ise-Shima, folk crafts, miscellaneous goods, and toys.

Iwatoya's specialty is ``Iwato Mochi,'' which is characterized by soybean flour, and ``ginger sugar,'' which is made by combining ginger juice and sugar. In addition to these two items, the other item that caught my eye was the cutely packaged "Sangu Kastira-yaki" (580 yen (tax included) for 10 pieces). Contains a ``Castella-style'' rice cracker shaped like the trademark Otafuku.

Sangu-tei is a restaurant on the first floor. In addition to `` Ise-Udon'' and ``Tekone Sushi,'' which are made with local ingredients, the restaurant also features a variety of menu items, including ``Roast Cutlet Zen'' and ``Salad Zen'' made with Matsusaka beef.

Next, we headed to Ise Naiku Senokuniya located across the main street. One of the things I look forward to is lunch time.

The first floor is a shop. After filling your stomach, take a closer look.

The restaurant ``Kanjian'' is on the second floor. It's very spacious, so you can easily spend your lunch there.

From the many menus, I ordered the ``Tekone Set'' (1,200 yen (tax included)), which allows you to enjoy Ise's two major gourmet dishes, `` Ise-Udon'' and ``Tekone Sushi'' at the same time. I had this meal after visiting Ise. We had a blissful time that can only be experienced here!

If you take your time to look around the first floor, you'll find the "Mie local sake" corner! It's also a perfect souvenir for those who love alcohol.

The specialty of "Senokuniya" is the authentic Kusa Mochi "Kamiyo-Mochi".

The shop's new favorite is the Magatama Monaka, which has Ise GreenTea filling with white chocolate chips. The idea of adding white chocolate is novel!

Use the Ise Futami Toba Line, which became free from March 11, 2017, to the Ise Azuchi-Momoyama Bunkamura. Being able to ride for free on sections that used to require a fee makes me feel good and excited!

After about 20 minutes of driving, we arrived at Ise Azuchi-Momoyama Castle Town. A spectacular scale appearance! I'm so excited to see what kind of theme park it is!

The entrance is also impressive, and expectations are even higher!

As soon as you enter the village, you will feel like you have wandered into the Sengoku period. Within the large grounds, there are various facilities such as ``experience areas'', ``play areas'', and ``theater viewing areas''. Where should I start?

“Iga Ninja Magic House” was drawn to me by the name of the facility. I can't stand up even though I'm on flat ground! It is a mysterious space that utilizes the human sense of balance based on vision. It's so much fun that you'll want to go around it over and over again!

Trying out the ninja projectile “blowgun” for the first time in my life! If you hit five targets, you will receive prizes such as original goods. It went better than I expected, so I'm happy!

The biggest attraction is Azuchi Castle, which is a faithful reproduction of the castle tower actually built by Oda Nobunaga. Its appearance is both beautiful and powerful!

You can see a panoramic view of IseCity from the castle! It is a view spot known only to those in the know.

Find your favorite horse! As a horse, I say, ``Don't ride me.'' It was fun to see this kind of playfulness sprinkled throughout!

The last place we headed to was Futami Futamiokitama-JinjaShirine Okami, who is said to have blessings on matchmaking and marital harmony. If you park your car in a nearby parking lot and walk toward the shrine, you will see Meotoiwa(rocksofthemarriedcouple). It has been known as the ``Sunrise Far Worship Place'' since ancient times, and is said to be a ``sacred place where God approaches'' from the land of eternal life. Seeing it live gives me a sacred feeling.

``Rinshimenawa'' placed in front of the main shrine. It is said that people rub their bodies, entrusting the wa-shimenawa to any areas of disfigurement or physical discomfort. I had another good experience for the first time!

"Goshuincho" which can be given at the shrine office. The stylishly designed cover of Meotoiwa(rocksofthemarriedcouple) is popular. The blue version depicts the moon rising between Meotoiwa(rocksofthemarriedcouple) (which can be seen during the full moon from October to January).

“Frog” saw me off on the way home. He is said to be the messenger of Sarutahiko Okami, the deity enshrined at this shrine. I promised that I would return safely.
