First in Mie Prefecture! Thorough coverage of Forest Adventure Yunoyama! I went to experience it before it opened on March 16, 2019! (Komono Town KomonoTown)

"Forest Adventure Yunoyama" is newly opened near Yunoyama Onsen Station in KomonoTown.
This is Mie Prefecture's first outdoor park that coexists with nature, and has four adventure courses where you can enjoy a dynamic treetop experience!

What kind of facilities are there where you can enjoy thrills and exhilaration, such as zip slides that are 100 meters long?
Before the opening on March 16, 2019, we visited you early!

[Forest Adventure Yunoyama Terms of Use]
・Height 140cm or above or 4th grade or above, weight up to 130kg.
・If you are a junior high school student or younger, please participate with a guardian over 18 years old or someone with equivalent qualifications.
・Up to 3 children can be accompanied by each parent/guardian.

The big appeal of Forest Adventure is that it uses the forest as it is.

Not only does it have less impact on the environment, but you won't find another facility with the same shape anywhere! !
Forest Adventure Yunoyama is truly the only facility in the world.

A short walk from the entrance, we found cute bears and owls made of wood.

I'm excited to see what kind of experience awaits me!

Check the contents of the participation pledge that explains the precautions and sign it.

Place your luggage in a light and easy-to-move state. As for clothing, shorts should be long enough to cover your knees. Skirts are prohibited.
Also, to fully enjoy the adventure course, it's best to wear comfortable athletic shoes!
By the way, please arrive 20 minutes before your reservation time to finish paying, changing clothes, and using the restroom.

Put on your harness before joining the adventure course.

The instructor will bring the harness for you and you can put it on, so you don't have to worry about it.

All adventure course participants receive a safety course.
Using a small course, you will be taught how to use equipment and things to be careful of.

This is Mr. Omori, the manager of Forest Adventure Yunoyama.
He has moved to KomonoTown in conjunction with the opening of our facility!

You will be given clear instructions on how to use the equipment.
At Forest Adventure, it is said that it is important for the customers to enjoy themselves in groups as much as possible, rather than having instructors tell them what to do.
We will thoroughly resolve any questions you may have so that you can use each piece of equipment on your own while on the tree!

There are two tools attached to the harness.
The photo above is a "pulley", which acts like a pulley. The photo below is a "carabiner".

People who are familiar with mountain climbing may know this, but if you are seeing or using it for the first time, be sure to remember how to use it.

After seeing a practical demonstration of how to use it and things to note, I will actually try it out myself using a small course.

In reality, all the courses in the trees are toured by teams or individuals, so it's a good idea to have them check here to make sure you're using the tools correctly.
The safety training so far has taken about 15 minutes.

After completing the safety training, it's time to go around the actual course.

First of all, we went to the first course, which is said to be the easiest of the four courses.

This is where I climbed the first staircase! This alone is already quite high! !

Even though I have a harness, walking across the thin trees is nerve-wracking.

There are various activities on the several meter tall tree.
Although the harness may be a bit bothersome at first, you'll get used to it in no time! Good visibility and a pleasant mountain breeze.

Enjoy nature to the fullest by being able to directly touch trees located high up that you would normally not be able to touch!

This is the last of the first course, the zip slide.

From a place close to 10m above the ground, you will be skating a distance of 100m in one go!

The destination is so far away. Even if your body is turned from front to back, the key is to just let yourself slide.

The park is built in the mountains, so I was able to ski in a really refreshing way without getting hit by the strong wind!

This is an activity at the beginning of the fourth and final course out of four courses.

It may look scary due to the height, but once you try it out, you'll be so fascinated by the new activities!

Can you see the difference in height from the top of the tree and from the ground?

Almost all activities are built at this height, so you feel like you are one with the forest.

This fourth course is the most difficult of the four, and includes activities like bouldering.

Relying on the harness and hold, I concentrated on crossing the bridge without falling!

We are finally preparing for the final double zipline.

The two zip lines are built parallel to each other, and the key is to start from each platform at the same time!

If you time it right, you can enjoy ziplining while holding hands!
