"Kamoka Doguten" sells stylish pottery in KomonoTown Mie District.
The items manufactured by Yamaguchi Pottery at ``Kamoshika Dougu Store'' are unique and very nice. Furthermore, it is a practical product that is designed to fit into your daily life, so it is something you will definitely want to use at home.
In addition to selling pottery, you can also experience pottery making, which is fun to watch! I'm glad I bought it! It's a shop that will make your heart sing with three beats, where you can experience and be satisfied!

Kamoshika Doguten is a shop in KomonoTown that sells stylish pottery. This time, I would like to buy some ceramic souvenirs here and enjoy the pottery experience!
It was sunny on the day of the interview! When I was driving by car and looking for a ``Kamoka Dogu Store,'' I found a shop built in the middle of a rice field. It has a rustic and simple appearance.

The location is surrounded by nature, so the air is delicious! The view of the Suzuka Mountains in the distance is breathtaking.
This time I visited in early February, so the mountains of Suzuka were covered in snow.

The entrance is made of wood and has a stylish feel. I'm really looking forward to entering the store! It felt like entering a secret warehouse, and I was a little nervous.

When you enter the store, you will see ceramic tableware lined up on large wooden shelves that go all the way to the ceiling. It's neatly displayed so it's stylish and cute.

Inside the store, there are rows of pottery items from the ``Kamoka Dogu Store'' and ``4th Market'' brands, all with unique shapes and colors. There is a wide variety of items, from pots, teapots, and ceramic frying pans to beer cups, rice bowls, and pottery, and just looking at them makes you feel happy.

We put a lot of heart into each product, so you feel like the products in the store are talking to you. I felt warmth and strength in all the products.

Based on the concept of ``communicating a fun and solid lifestyle culture and delivering happiness through the dining table,'' we have a wide selection of products that are practical, but also ``enjoyable to look at'' and ``enjoyable to use.'' Masu.
The recommended product is the ``Rice Hot Pot''. It is quite practical as it not only allows you to cook delicious rice but also has a temperature control effect. It looks very cute and is a popular item.

There are three types available: 1 cup, 2 cups, and 3 cups, so you can choose the type that suits your lifestyle. It's good to cook rice in a rice cooker, but cooking it in a pot can also be fun and change your lifestyle!
Be sure to try using it at your dining table along with the ``rice bowls'' and ``rice scoops'' sold in the store!
Cooked one go: 2,800 yen/excluding tax ◆White/black
Two-cooked rice: 4,800 yen/excluding tax ◆White/black
Three-go firing: 6,800 yen/excluding tax ◆White/Black

Currently, the products that are selling at the store are ``suribachi'' and ``spice suribachi.'' This is a masterpiece that has even been featured in the media!

Although this suribachi does not have grooves, it is unique in that it can be made firmly, and there is no residue left in the grooves. This product is also popular because it is easy to clean.
Suribachi: 3,400 yen/excluding tax ◆4 colors: white, black, brown, and indigo
Spice Suribachi: 1,800 yen/excluding tax ◆4 colors: white, black, brown, and indigo

Rice racks made from Japanese cypress are also popular items. The design also serves as an accent to your interior.
Paulownia rice bowl 10kg: 18,000 yen/excluding tax
Paulownia rice bowl 5kg: 15,000 yen/excluding tax

In addition to original products, ``Kamoshika Dougu Store'' also sells products from ``4th Market,'' a food brand created through a collaboration between four pottery companies in Yokkaichi.
We also have a wide variety of miscellaneous goods such as ``Original Tenugui'', ``Saori Ori MIE'', ``Masashichi Nakagawa'', and ``KOMONO T-shirts''.

In addition to pottery, original hoodies are also displayed in the store. The fabric and construction are solid, so it seems to be a popular item among the younger generation!

We also sell ``coloring plates'' that can be colored with special pens and baked in an electronic toaster for 30 minutes, and can be enjoyed by both children and adults.

Next, it was time for the pottery experience that we had reserved! An instructor will teach you, so even beginners can experience it with confidence.
Reservations are required for the pottery experience, and up to 10 people can participate at the same time.It is held twice a day from 10:30 to 12:00 and from 14:30 to 16:00. We are closed every Thursday as it is a regular holiday.
The experience includes ``tatara molding,'' where you select a shape and press a clay plate into a plaster mold to create the shape.

Firmly fit the soil into the plaster mold and mold it to make the surface as smooth as possible and draw a nice curve. After shaping the surface neatly, cut out the clay along the shape of the vessel.

Several types of decorative markings are available, so you can pattern the surface with your favorite design. I wasn't sure what kind of decoration to use, but I decided on my favorite floral pattern.

The key is to create a design that is unique to your world.
It is up to you to create a work that is full of originality! I will trust my sensibilities and challenge myself with inspiration! Finally, remove the plaster mold and finish the mouth area.

Choose a color from 5 types of glaze samples and you're done. After that, the shop will bake the product, and it will be completed in about a month, and you will receive the product either by shipping it or picking it up.

We also recommend using leftover clay to make small items, such as chopstick rests, and create your own original works depending on your ideas! (Accessories are 250 yen/tax included).
You can make them as mementos of your trip, but why not make them as gifts for various occasions?

This interview was a really fun time. All of the pottery pieces are attractive because they are unique and match your daily life. We recommend that you come to the store and see the many products on display and buy them, but if you live far away, we also sell online, so you can also purchase online. We also have stores nationwide listed online, so be sure to check them out at a store near you!
