Experience pottery at Komono's "Kamoshika Dogu Store"! A thorough report on shops selling unique and stylish pottery!

"Kamoka Doguten" sells stylish pottery in KomonoTown Mie District.
The items manufactured by Yamaguchi Pottery at ``Kamoshika Dougu Store'' are unique and very nice. Furthermore, it is a practical product that is designed to fit into your daily life, so it is something you will definitely want to use at home.
In addition to selling pottery, you can also experience pottery making, which is fun to watch! I'm glad I bought it! It's a shop that will make your heart sing with three beats, where you can experience and be satisfied!
It was sunny on the day of the interview! When I was driving by car and looking for a ``Kamoka Dogu Store,'' I found a shop built in the middle of a rice field. It has a rustic and simple appearance.
This time I visited in early February, so the mountains of Suzuka were covered in snow.
The recommended product is the ``Rice Hot Pot''. It is quite practical as it not only allows you to cook delicious rice but also has a temperature control effect. It looks very cute and is a popular item.
Be sure to try using it at your dining table along with the ``rice bowls'' and ``rice scoops'' sold in the store!
Cooked one go: 2,800 yen/excluding tax ◆White/black
Two-cooked rice: 4,800 yen/excluding tax ◆White/black
Three-go firing: 6,800 yen/excluding tax ◆White/Black
Although this suribachi does not have grooves, it is unique in that it can be made firmly, and there is no residue left in the grooves. This product is also popular because it is easy to clean.
Suribachi: 3,400 yen/excluding tax ◆4 colors: white, black, brown, and indigo
Spice Suribachi: 1,800 yen/excluding tax ◆4 colors: white, black, brown, and indigo
Paulownia rice bowl 10kg: 18,000 yen/excluding tax
Paulownia rice bowl 5kg: 15,000 yen/excluding tax
We also have a wide variety of miscellaneous goods such as ``Original Tenugui'', ``Saori Ori MIE'', ``Masashichi Nakagawa'', and ``KOMONO T-shirts''.
Reservations are required for the pottery experience, and up to 10 people can participate at the same time.It is held twice a day from 10:30 to 12:00 and from 14:30 to 16:00. We are closed every Thursday as it is a regular holiday.
The experience includes ``tatara molding,'' where you select a shape and press a clay plate into a plaster mold to create the shape.
It is up to you to create a work that is full of originality! I will trust my sensibilities and challenge myself with inspiration! Finally, remove the plaster mold and finish the mouth area.
We also recommend using leftover clay to make small items, such as chopstick rests, and create your own original works depending on your ideas! (Accessories are 250 yen/tax included).
You can make them as mementos of your trip, but why not make them as gifts for various occasions?
This interview was a really fun time. All of the pottery pieces are attractive because they are unique and match your daily life. We recommend that you come to the store and see the many products on display and buy them, but if you live far away, we also sell online, so you can also purchase online. We also have stores nationwide listed online, so be sure to check them out at a store near you!
