The store is located a little down an alley from National Route 23. The sign that says "Leather Shop" in large letters on the wall of the store is a landmark. The retro look is wonderful♪

The store is full of unique leather products that you'll want to pick up and take a look at! A wide variety of products are on sale, including original leather jackets, bags, wallets, and accessories.

The experience costs 2,500 yen (tax included) per person, including instructor fees and materials costs. Choose one product you want to make from a total of four types, such as bracelets, key cases, and key chains.
I couldn't decide between all the cute designs, but this time I'm going to try making a bracelet from them!

Once you have decided on the design you want to create, the next step is to choose the color of the leather. Choose from 4 different colors while imagining the finished product!

At the same time, select the accessories that will be attached to the finished product. There are many kinds, and all of them are very cute and wonderful!
*This is an optional item, so a separate fee is required for each accessory.

You can also choose the color of the thread you want to sew on. It's fun to think about and decide on combinations of leather, thread, and accessories!

While temporarily placing accessories and threads on the leather, check how they are actually attached. Alright, this time I decided on white leather! After choosing the accessories and thread, it's finally time to make it!

First, we will apply the prepared cream to the back side of the leather to blend it in.
oh! The color of the leather changes each time you apply it. fun! !

Adjust the leather belt to your arm and decide where to fasten the button. With the help of the shop owner, mark the position to make the hole.
Next, mark the holes for the bracelet thread. Ask them to show you a model, and use a compass to mark the path to keep it straight.

Once you've finished marking everything, let's drill the holes! Use a special tool like a hammer to make holes. Be careful of the distribution of force as you hit so as not to hit too much and end up with a big hole.

It's a bit tricky work, but don't worry! The shop owner will assist you with work methods and tips for difficult parts. It's reassuring even for first-timers to have one-on-one assistance.

Next, thread the thread through the hole you made. If you thread the thread in the wrong order, the finished product will look different, so be careful!
If you make a mistake, you can try again as many times as you like within the time limit.

Once the thread is threaded, fire is used to secure the thread to the leather. Then, apply a top coat to finish the leather.
If you've come this far, just a little more!

Finally, add the bracelet buttons and accessories and you're done!
I was able to complete it in about an hour and a half! No matter which product you choose, you can complete it in about 2 hours.

This is the finished bracelet! Although it was my first experience, I was able to make it as cute as I wanted because I was given good instructions!
By the way, the one I made for this experience was the white one, and the one the owner made together with me was the black one. We took a photo together♪

I tried wearing the bracelet I actually made. The only original bracelet in the world. I also love it.

The fun part is that even with the same design, you can express your individuality depending on how you attach accessories and the combination of materials.
There are also experiences for children, where you can make cute accessories such as teruteru bozu. (Parent-child experience: 2,500 yen for adults, 1,500 yen for children *both tax included)

For custom-made products, you can also leave the design of the product to us, and this is an example of our previous work. It seems that each of these detailed patterns is carved into the piece, making it a work that truly shows the skill of the craftsman!
