A model course to enjoy OdaiTown to its fullest♪ We visited popular spots such as nature experiences and gourmet food!

This time, we visited Odai-cho, Taki-OdaiTown which stretches out from east to west along Mie Prefecture's largest river, Miyagawa.
The western part is a mountain village area surrounded by mountains, and the eastern part is a rural area with tea plantations.
First, go to "Michi-no-eki Okuise Odai".

Direct sales corner is right after entering the entrance.
We have a wide selection of vegetables and handmade items grown in OdaiTown and surrounding areas.

The station master and other staff members explained recommended sightseeing spots and routes in the surrounding area.

It's around noon, so it's lunch time here. The dining room is also a spacious space where you can relax.

I ordered ``Today's Ekiben'' recommended by the station master.
This extremely popular menu is limited to 30 servings and can only be eaten on weekdays (main dishes change daily). There are plenty of side dishes made with seasonal vegetables, and I love that it comes with miso soup. After filling our stomachs, we headed to the main event of this trip, a place where we could experience SUP.

"SUP" stands for stand up paddle surfing.
It is a water activity where you stand on a pneumatic board with strong buoyancy and stability, and row with a paddle. We would like to thank the people of "Verde Odai Tourism," which offers a variety of experiences in OdaiTown for their help. The course I pre-booked was the "SUP Lesson".
First of all, the staff will give you a detailed lecture.

Get on the water right away. Thanks to the lecture, I was able to ride it even on my first experience. Feel refreshed and feel close to nature! ! The lake's surface is calm, so SUP beginners can enjoy it with peace of mind, and it's also popular with people in their 40s and 50s. Two hours passed quickly.

You can also experience ``ONEWHEEL'', which is said to be the first in the country to be introduced. This is an electric one-wheel skateboard with a side-sweeping style and the latest evolution. This was also surprisingly easy and fun!

Now then, let's go to today's room. I'm excited to see where I can stay.

This location also allows you to enjoy the nature outside from your window.

Head to the open-air bath at Okuise Miyagawa Onsen, which is one of the selling points of Okuise Forest Pier.
The spring quality has a high heat retention effect, and it is characterized by a refreshing feeling after bathing.

The last thing to look forward to at the end of the day is dinner.
The sophisticated French course uses plenty of local ingredients and is nothing short of luxurious.

A day full of enjoying the magnificent nature and local gourmet food is over. I went to bed early to prepare for tomorrow. After breakfast on the second day, check out. It was a very satisfying accommodation.

The inside of the store is relaxing. The atmosphere is perfect for leisurely enjoying your travel meal.

I ordered the most popular dish, ``Champon.''
The light Japanese-style soup and ankake go well with the thick noodles, making it a satisfying meal. This dish is packed with vegetables and is popular among women.

At the end of our trip, we visited the Milkland Itokawa store in TaikiTown.
It takes about 30 minutes by car from "Chuka Soba Ichifuji".

The store sells souvenirs and handmade bread made with ouchiyama Milk, which is known as a ``safe, safe, and delicious milk brand.''

Recommended souvenirs are `` ouchiyama Milk Baumkuchen'' and ``Milk Sable.''
Both are characterized by a gentle milk flavor.

This product is so popular that many customers come from outside the prefecture in search of the rich flavor that brings out the deliciousness of milk. It's also perfect as an after-dinner dessert!

This is the end of our 1 night and 2 day trip to the Chunanse area. I had a fulfilling time enjoying the nature and food unique to this area to my heart's content.
