There are many places in KuwanaCity where you can play in the water, such as the ocean, rivers, and pools, but in Tado-cho, Kuwana City, there is a water playground called a "natural pool" that makes use of a mountain stream. .

How is it different from a regular pool or river? I went to play at the Tadokyo Natural Pool with two parents and children, a 7-year-old and a 5-year-old! !

Tado Gorge Natural Pool is located on the Tado River that flows from Mt. Tado in Tado-cho, Kuwana KuwanaCity.
The parking lot is divided into several areas, and the closest one is about 100m from the pool. There are a limited number of parking lots, so if you're going out with friends, it's safer to carpool.

The pool, created by damming the Tado River, is surrounded by greenery and is full of nature!
Even on a hot day, walking under the shade of the trees and feeling the flow of the river will keep you cool. The negative ions emitted from the waterfall will soothe you.
I want to let my children play in nature! It's also perfect for families. Looking down downstream from the bridge, you can see a cool view.

When we arrived at the pool, there were already many people enjoying playing in the water.

The children immediately entered the water with their floats! !

On a hot, sunny day, the water in the pool is sometimes lukewarm, which is a little disappointing, but since this natural pool is water from a natural river, the water temperature is low at around 20 degrees Celsius, so it's a bit disappointing. You can tell it's cold just by putting it on.

It will cool down your hot body ♪ Both moms and children will be surprised and excited by the coolness of the natural water!

The depth of the water varies depending on the location, but it is shallow at about 80 cm at the deepest point, about the height of an adult's thighs to waist.
It is just the right depth for children to swim.

The pool has a natural river flow, and it feels great just floating around on the float.

We had fun playing with floats, water guns, floats, etc.
When you put on your goggles and dive in, you'll notice that unlike a normal pool, there are stones and driftwood, making you feel like you're exploring the inside of a river.

You can also go upstream by climbing up the steps against the flow.
The water is about ankle deep, and the children found dragonflies and tadpoles, which are unique to a natural playground!

Restrooms are also right next to the rest area, so you don't have to worry.

The shop has a menu of light meals that you can enjoy when you're feeling peckish, such as fried chicken, frankfurters, takoyaki, and cup ramen.

In addition to food from the shops, you can also bring your own lunch boxes. However, there are no trash cans at the pool, so please take all trash home with you unless you purchase it at the store.

In addition, the shop sells drinks and rents out floats (500 yen each/unlimited time), so if you forgot your water toys! Don't worry if that's the case.
Rental lockers (300 yen/unlimited time) are also available.
For a fee, you can use a compressor to inflate even large water toys that are difficult to inflate. (Floating ring/100 yen, other large goods/200 yen)
