When it comes to places you want to go to in the summer, it's definitely water play spots! Tado Gorge Natural Pool, located in Tado-cho KuwanaCity, is a pool created by damming up the water of a natural river. The river water is cool and pleasant, perfect for a hot day! Moreover, admission is free and there are plenty of facilities. I went to Tado Gorge Natural Pool to play!
There are many places in KuwanaCity where you can play in the water, such as the ocean, rivers, and pools, but in Tado-cho, Kuwana City, there is a water playground called a "natural pool" that makes use of a mountain stream. .
How is it different from a regular pool or river? I went to play at the Tadokyo Natural Pool with two parents and children, a 7-year-old and a 5-year-old! !
The parking lot is divided into several areas, and the closest one is about 100m from the pool. There are a limited number of parking lots, so if you're going out with friends, it's safer to carpool.
Bring your water toys and head to the pool!
Even on a hot day, walking under the shade of the trees and feeling the flow of the river will keep you cool. The negative ions emitted from the waterfall will soothe you.
I want to let my children play in nature! It's also perfect for families. Looking down downstream from the bridge, you can see a cool view.
When we arrived at the pool, there were already many people enjoying playing in the water.
The children immediately entered the water with their floats! !
On a hot, sunny day, the water in the pool is sometimes lukewarm, which is a little disappointing, but since this natural pool is water from a natural river, the water temperature is low at around 20 degrees Celsius, so it's a bit disappointing. You can tell it's cold just by putting it on.
It will cool down your hot body ♪ Both moms and children will be surprised and excited by the coolness of the natural water!
It is just the right depth for children to swim.
When you put on your goggles and dive in, you'll notice that unlike a normal pool, there are stones and driftwood, making you feel like you're exploring the inside of a river.
The water is about ankle deep, and the children found dragonflies and tadpoles, which are unique to a natural playground!
It's also nice to be able to go out and play right after changing clothes.
In addition to tables and chairs, there is also a space where you can take off your shoes. You can change your clothes in the changing room or take a rest in the shade.
Restrooms are also right next to the rest area, so you don't have to worry.
In addition to food from the shops, you can also bring your own lunch boxes. However, there are no trash cans at the pool, so please take all trash home with you unless you purchase it at the store.
Rental lockers (300 yen/unlimited time) are also available.
For a fee, you can use a compressor to inflate even large water toys that are difficult to inflate. (Floating ring/100 yen, other large goods/200 yen)
Shop opening hours: 9:00am on weekdays, 8:30am on Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, and Obon holidays
There is also a shop on the opposite bank across the bridge.
Parking fees range from free to 600 yen (depending on location) per car, and you can play for free regardless of the number of people.
In addition, we will be holding a very popular event “Goldfish Catch”!
Everyone got excited about the swift goldfish. Why not go out and make memories of your summer vacation?
