On the way to Gokashoura, the center of MinamiiseTown, I found a shop that caught my eye!
What is ``appamaru'' that looks like takoyaki?

The name of the shop, which just opened in August of this year, is ``Appappaya Hanare.'' This store was created by Appappa-ya, a specialty store for hinoki fan shells, with the hope that people can experience the charm of hinoki fan shells more closely. There is also eat-in space inside the store.

Their signature dish, ``Appamaru,'' is grilled after you order. I'm looking forward to the taste of hinoki fan shells!
It can be completed in about 10 minutes if you work quickly. I'm also happy that the wait time is short.

It’s freshly made, so it’s piping hot and steamy! The most important part of the dish is the ``Hinoki fan shell'', which is thick and full of flavor.
It might be easier to eat than takoyaki. It's so amazingly delicious!

The purpose of this trip was to "see the spectacular views" of MinamiiseTown. Head to the first point, Nankai Observation Park.
It takes about 25 minutes by car from Appappaya Hanare. There are quite steep stairs from the parking lot! But traveling wouldn't be fun without this much effort!

Arrived at the park. Here you can find the ``Sailor's Object,'' which can be said to be the symbol of MinamiiseTown.
The secret to her popularity is her "exquisite roundness" with her buttocks sticking out. It might be a good idea to line up and take pictures together.

The scenery of the ocean, ria coastline, and fishing village is unique to MinamiiseTown.
I was captivated by the 360-degree view from the 150m altitude.

Since the first view exceeded my expectations, I was able to move easily to the next observation deck.
About 20 minutes by car from Nankai Observatory Park, we arrived at Nakanoiso Observatory.
You can see pearl and sea bream farms, and it's a spectacular view where you can get a feel for the lifestyle of the local people.

When you change the viewing angle, you can see the scenery of mountains surrounded by greenery! It has a mysterious atmosphere, and the view is also wonderful.
This observatory is also famous as a spot where you can see a beautiful sunset.

One of the pleasures of traveling is spending time at your inn. This time's accommodation is kamisakiura Ryokan, located in the fishing town of Kamisakiura.
The homely atmosphere conveyed from the exterior gives you a sense of security.

After all, it has a calming tatami scent. It's a blissful time to lie down and relax in the spacious Japanese-style room.

One of the special features of this inn is the Shigaraki ware pottery bath ``Ruri no Yu.'' You can enjoy it privately and refresh your mind and body while feeling the Japanese atmosphere.

Finally, it's the dinner time I've been looking forward to!
Enjoy dishes made with fish and shellfish caught by local fishermen from the sea right in front of you. It's truly a luxury to be able to enjoy such fresh ingredients.
In the "Oinaisa Campaign 2019 Autumn/Winter", you can choose between the "Ise Shrimp Plan" and the "Shellfish Enjoyment Plan", both of which are super economical at "9,900 yen (excluding tax)" for one night and two meals. ! !
*Kawachiya Ryokan only offers the "Ise Shrimp Plan".

In the morning of the second day, we went to the fish farm at Kawachiya Ryokan.
Red sea bream and mahta are farmed, and you can experience feeding them. There was a lot to learn from actually seeing aquaculture, such as how to make food! Raft fishing, which can be enjoyed by both adults and children, is also popular.

The Nomura family runs the inn as a family.
We were able to enjoy a good time and delicious food with warm hospitality.
thank you very much!

At check-out, we received an "Oinaisa gift certificate" (worth 1,000 yen/one coupon per guest), which is available to those staying under the "Oinaisa Campaign 2019 Autumn/Winter" accommodation plan.
You can use it at 53 stores in MinamiiseTown, so it's also a great deal! !

Of course I will go to the observation deck on the second day!
Miejima Observation Deck in MinamiiseTown has a view of Heart Cove, which has now become a representative tourist spot in UguraPark. This time, we are looking at another observation deck nearby. Park your car at the same location as the Miejima Observation Deck.

The observation deck was chosen as the filming location for the movie ``Seikan Kimi ni Koi Shita 30 Days,'' in which Wakana Aoi, who was the heroine of the morning drama, appeared. Hearing that makes me even more excited!

Its name is "Tachibana Observatory". You will arrive after walking about 250m along the promenade.
Snap shot from the same angle as the scene used in the movie. It reminds me of a famous scene from a movie.
The refreshing breeze feels great!

It's almost lunch time. Returning to central Gokashoura, we headed to Gyusei, which is known for its ``popular bento boxes that are full of volume.''

This is a shop that has been devoted to meat for 50 years and is particular about quality, and handles Japanese black beef and Japanese black beef offal.
By lunch time, customers were arriving one after another!

I ordered one of the popular menu items, the "Beef Hormone Bento" (850 yen/tax included *Deluxe version is 1,300 yen/tax included).
The sweet, tender meat and special miso sauce are the perfect match. The chopsticks are moving forward!

At the end of our trip, we visited Sato-no-Eki Naizeshizen Village to buy some souvenirs. It takes about 6 minutes by car from Ushisei. Let's buy souvenirs unique to MinamiiseTown here!

The store has a full lineup of specialty products from MinamiiseTown. Now, what should I buy?

The store's recommended product is Gokasho Koume (300 yen/tax included for 100g).
The melt-in-your-mouth pulp has just the right amount of acidity and goes well with a variety of foods.

100% fruit juice is also a popular product. It is made by squeezing ripe mandarin oranges from MinamiiseTown with a sugar content of 13 degrees or higher (each juice starts at 1,200 yen/tax included).
In addition, the ``honey'' produced by Hasegawa Beekeeping is very rich and has a rich floral aroma. This product is perfect as a souvenir.

The representative, Mr. Yamade, was very friendly and kindly told us about MinamiiseTown 's special products and good points.
While traveling, I also enjoy interacting with local people. thank you very much!

Naizeshizen Village also has an orchard, where you can even pick oranges!
The ``Unshu mandarin oranges'' that grow on terraced fields and the ``Seminole mandarin oranges'' grown in this area are characterized by their refreshing sourness.
You can eat all-you-can-eat mandarin oranges, and you can take 2kg home with you (1kg for children, none for infants).
It's great that even small children can enjoy it.

The parking lot at Naizeshizen Village is a large space, and there are benches along the ocean.
It is a little-known spot where you can enjoy a relaxing time while admiring the magnificent nature.
