■ osatsu Ama Cultural Museum
Next, we headed to osatsu, the town of ama divers and fishermen.
This town is home to the largest number of Ama divers in the Toba-Shima region. osatsu Ama Cultural Museum also serves as a tourist information base for osatsu Town.

Once you enter the museum, you can freely explore the exhibits, including the tools and clothing worn by Ama divers, as well as paintings and photographs from the time.

There are also works of art with the theme of Ama, such as a life-sized diorama that looks like an Ama diver fishing, so you can learn about the history and thoughts of Ama culture.

■ Ishigami-san (Shinmei-JinjaShrine)
About 5 minutes walk from osatsu Ama Cultural Museum. Visit Ishigami-san who has been believed by Ama divers since ancient times to be able to grant one wish of a woman.
Write just one wish on a prayer paper, place it in the wish box in front of Ishigami-san and pray.

Unique talismans with embroidered stars and grid marks are also popular.

This is the place you want to stop by on your way home from Ishigami-san san (Shinmei-JinjaShrine)!

Osatsu Kitchen 0032 is located on the way to Ishigami-san (Shinmei-JinjaShrine) and osatsu Ama Cultural Museum.
This is a new cafe that just opened in April 2019. Both eat-in and take-out options are available.

The restaurant's signature menu items are ``ZAKO Fry'' and ``ZAKO Fry Sand,'' which are made with fish caught by fishermen in osatsu sea and seaweed picked by Ama divers. The fresh fried small fish landed at osatsu Fishing Port is different every day, so I get excited every time I visit.
There is also a menu using ``Tokoroten'', which is made from 100% natural tengusa from osatsu.
Rainbow Tokoroten Cider is colorful and enjoyable both in appearance and taste.
