The Chunansei district, centered around TsuCity, is full of spots where you can play, see, eat, and have fun with your family, including OyatsuTown currently very popular with families! My family and I enjoyed a great deal while touring the participating facilities of the "Answer Lucky! You Can See It on Your Smartphone Campaign"!

The Chunansei district, centered around TsuCity, is full of spots where you can play, see, eat, and have fun with your family, including OyatsuTown currently very popular with families!
My family and I had a great time touring the participating facilities of the `` Answer Lucky! View on Your Smartphone Campaign'' and enjoy great deals!

OyatsuTown
I immediately visited "OyatsuTown, a theme park that opened in July 2019 and is home to the everyone-loved snack "Baby Star Ramen"!
The colorful exterior features a large depiction of the baby star character Hoshio-kun, making you excited. It's an indoor theme park, so you can come and have fun without worrying about the weather.
First, take a commemorative photo with a large welcome object that looks like Baby Star Ramen spilling out of a bag!

When you go through the entrance gate, you will first arrive at the "Oyatsu Hiroba"!
This is an area with a huge indoor athletic facility and lots of play equipment that even small children can play with.
The first thing that caught my eye was the impressive “Hoshio-kun Big Slider”!
I had fun crawling into the big Hoshio-kun's body and sliding over and over again♪

Next, the whole family will try out the "Super Big Athletics" that will tickle your spirit of challenge! The 1st floor is a course for young children, and the 2nd and 3rd floors are thrilling courses that even adults can enjoy.
Not only the children but also their parents were captivated by the thrill of navigating through narrow spaces with just a lifeline, even though it was higher than they had imagined!

The zip lines on the 1st and 2nd floors are extremely exhilarating!
I used my whole body to feel the thrill and excitement!

■Super big athletic
Price (tax included): 1st floor 500 yen, 2nd floor 1500 yen, 2nd and 3rd floors 2500 yen

``Little Town,'' where small children can play, is an open space with play equipment made of cardboard. Moms and dads watching from the side also feel safe.

You can have lots of fun with the mini slide, drawing, and more!

The most attractive feature of "OyatsuTown" is the "Hoshio-kun Kitchen", an experience corner where you can learn to make your own original snacks!
This time we all experienced "Furi Furi♪ Baby Star".

Place baby stars in a maracas-shaped container and choose your favorite seasoning powder. The children each chose seaweed and consommé flavors. Mom has the basil flavor, and dad has the cutlet curry flavor (!), so I'm really curious as to what kind of taste it is.

*Selectable flavors vary depending on the season.

Add the powder, put the lid on, and have fun playing around! Everyone shakes at the same time, like playing maracas, and you can't help but get excited♪
Finally, decorate the maracas with cute stickers and pens to create your own baby star♪

Capacity: Approximately 30 people per session

Required time/approx. 15 minutes

If you're hungry after playing so much, head to Baby Star Dining for a long-awaited lunch!
It is a spacious food area with approximately 250 seats where you can enjoy authentic original menus using Baby Star.

We will have "Butamen Tonkotsu Ramen", "Baby Star Curry Full of Umami", "Baby Star Ankake Noodles", and more!
When we took a bite of the ``Authentic Stone Oven Ramen Pizza'', everyone was surprised and said, ``It tastes like ramen!''

Lastly, check out the souvenirs at the shopping area “Oyatsu Marche”!
There are limited edition snacks and goods that can only be obtained here, so you'll be spoiled for choice!

Read the QR code on the "Smartphone View Campaign" POP near the exit gate and answer a simple survey!
On this day, I received an original clear file that is not for sale!

Yumoto Sakakibarakan
After a full day of fun at OyatsuTown, we headed to Yumoto Sakakibarakan, located in the Sakakibara Onsen area of TsuCity for today's accommodation.
Sakakibara Onsen is a hot spring with a long history and is said to be mentioned in Sei Shonagon's The Pillow Book.
It is especially known for its beautiful skin effects, which is especially pleasing to women.

The appeal of this Sakakibara Onsen is that it is the only one that has its own hot spring source within the facility!
You can always enjoy fresh hot spring water, and the freshly-springing hot spring water is used not only for bathing, but also for cooking and drinks!
It's a kind of hospitality that can only be found here.

The large public bath ``Maromi no Yu'' has ``Murasaki'' and ``Moegi'' baths, which alternate daily for men and women.
There is also an open-air bath where you can feel the sound of the nearby river, and you can spend a relaxing time soaking in the hot springs in a space filled with negative ions.

Bathing hours/6:00-23:00

We also recommend the private open-air bath with a view where you can relax in luxury on your own.

Meals are made with healthy ingredients such as home-grown rice and fresh vegetables with high antioxidant properties, and are prepared with the theme of local production for local consumption, in a dining room overlooking the mountains and river of Sakakibara.
The menu was designed with ``beautiful skin and health'' in mind, and while being healthy, it also filled your stomach and left you feeling satisfied!

Mie Prefectural Museum (MieMu)
On the second day, we first went to Mie Prefectural Museum “MieMu”!
This is a general museum where you can see and learn about exhibits and materials related to Mie's nature, history, and culture.

If you respond to the survey for the "Mie Mu Ezou Campaign" at the ticket counter, you will receive an original MieMu badge featuring the silhouette of Miezo!

In front of the exhibition room, you will be greeted by a dynamically restored full-body skeletal specimen of MieMu's symbol, the Miezo elephant!
"Miezo" is an ancient elephant whose fossil was first discovered in Mie Prefecture, and many fossils have been discovered in various places in the prefecture, and MieMu also has a large collection of fossil materials.

What we especially recommend for families is the ``Children's Experience Exhibition Room,'' which you can enjoy for free.
This is an experiential exhibition room where you can discover the familiar wonders of Mie with various themes such as the sea, mountains, rivers, animals and plants, history and lifestyle.
Children can crawl into tunnels, climb slopes and stairs, and have fun learning by exploring the room and moving around.

There is also a corner where you can read picture books and draw pictures!

In the learning exchange space, you can enjoy the ``1000 Books to Learn About Mie'' that will help you learn more about Mie, and you can also purchase limited edition goods at the museum shop.
Various special exhibitions are held for a limited time, so you can enjoy it no matter how many times you visit.
