Drink some delicious beer from Hinotani Onsen while you're at home and send cheers to medical workers! Yell for Japan

I would like to express my gratitude and support to the medical workers who are fighting in the harsh medical field right now. Hinotani Onsen MisugiResort in Misugi-cho, TsuCity has started a project to donate 30% of the proceeds from the sales of its own ``Yell for Japan'' beer to medical workers. We would like to introduce the motivation and thoughts behind this initiative!
Currently (as of May 11), we are closed for day trip hot spring bathing and overnight stays from April 1st due to the spread of the new coronavirus infection.
One day, Mr. and Mrs. Nakagawa, the representatives of MisugiResort, saw on TV a video of the "Friday Ovation" initiative, which is a show of support for medical workers at noon on Fridays.
In particular, his wife Kana, who is in charge of the social innovation project, has been working hard in the medical field, including launching Japan's first beauty salon exclusively for cancer patients, and she seemed to have a strong interest in this topic. .

The two wanted to convey their feelings of gratitude and support in some way to the medical workers who are still fighting hard on the front lines of the medical field, where they themselves are at risk of infection.
That's how we came up with this "Yell for Japan" initiative.
I want to send cheers to medical workers across the country! With this in mind, we will donate 30% of the sales of the "Ale" beer we produce to medical workers.
If you sell beer online, you can start selling beer even now, even during the holidays! This is a great idea.
In order to recreate the unforgettable taste of the beer he encountered when he went to the United States, the owner, who is the predecessor of the current representative, Yuki Nakagawa, imported an American brewery facility and built his own beer brewery on the premises. It was done.
Since then, we have produced a lineup of 3 to 4 types of beer based on the season, using spring water from Hinotani, which flows through the beautiful nature and clear air, and local agricultural products.
You can feel Mr. Nakagawa's extraordinary passion for making beer.

This beer, named "Yell for Japan", is also made with such commitment.
The best feature is that we use locally produced red rice and white rice as ingredients! Normal beer is made from barley, but by using rice as part of the raw material, it has a light taste. It is a beer that is easy to drink, even for women, with a mild bitterness and a gorgeous aroma.
``Japanese beer brewing tends to rely on imported raw materials from overseas, but in part because we want to contribute to the local community, we incorporate some carefully selected ingredients from Mie Prefecture,'' says Nakagawa.
In addition to supporting medical workers, beer sales also support local agriculture.

Since sales began on April 28th, the number of sales has gradually increased, and support has been received from various people inside and outside the prefecture who agree with the Nakagawa couple's idea.
The company plans to donate proceeds to Mie Prefecture at first, and then gradually expand to other parts of the country.
This "Yell for Japan" beer can be purchased from MisugiResort website.
Now that we're spending more time at home, you can relax with Yell for Japan beer at home, enjoy it while having a meal with your family, or give it to a loved one you can't meet right now...
Even for those of us who purchase this project, we can find many ways to utilize it.
As the weather gets hotter and hotter, we can all do what we can to give some cheer to the medical workers while drinking delicious beer!

[Added on May 18th]
This initiative, which started on April 28th, has already received support from many people and has already generated sales of approximately 400,000 yen.
On May 18th, we made our first donation to the ``Love Donation to Help Overcome the New Coronavirus'' and received a letter of appreciation from the Governor of Mie Prefecture.
They say they have received a lot of support from people outside the prefecture, and are currently considering where to make the second donation, not just within the prefecture. Please continue to support this initiative!
