15 minutes by car from IseJingu. IseCity Paradise'' is located next to the tourist attraction `` Meotoiwa(rocksofthemarriedcouple)'' in Futami-cho, Ise City. This is a rare aquarium in Japan where you can see charming marine mammals such as walruses and sea lions up close. This experience has been highly praised, and the Kinki area was ranked number one in the world's largest travel site TripAdvisor's ``Popular by word of mouth ranking of Japanese aquariums 2019''! A new area will appear on July 16, 2020! Introducing the latest information on the aquarium, which has been further powered up♪
First, purchase a ticket at the ticket office.

(As of 7/9, we are open with a "priority reservation system" that allows you to make a reservation in advance on the website and receive priority admission procedures.)
I can’t wait to visit Ise Sea Paradise for the first time!
After purchasing the ticket, I will go with my 2-year-old girl's family♪
First, go to "Todo Pool" next to the entrance of Ise Sea Paradise. The ones who will welcome you here are the ``Meotodo Couple''!
You will be surprised by its large body, weighing 1t and total length of 3m! But if you look closely, you'll see a charming face♪
The start of the museum is the "cave aquarium area," which makes you feel like you're inside a cave.
Meotoiwa(rocksofthemarriedcouple) Aquarium, where red and white fish swim around the Meotoiwa(rocksofthemarriedcouple) object.
There are many auspicious fish such as long-lived fish and color fish corner!
For example, ``The perfect fish for people who want to feel positive is the Red Phantom...'' It's fun to have a look around with color therapy as well!
Once you pass through the cave, you will find yourself surrounded by palm trees and other plants. This zone, which was originally a botanical garden, feels like visiting a world where animals live. First, let's go to the penguin forest.
When you think of penguins, you imagine that they live on ice. However, in reality, most types of penguins live on the ground.
This penguin forest is said to be a reproduction of the way penguins live in the wild. You can see how cute penguins live up close through the fence.
Next, we took a commemorative photo with the spotted seal, also known as "Goma-chan." At the designated time, you can take photos with the cute harbor seals. (Please check the official website for times in advance)
A harbor seal appeared with its keeper. ``They eat up to 3 kg of horse mackerel in one meal!'' said a zookeeper who knows more about harbor seals than anyone else.
If you hand over your camera, the zookeeper will be happy to take a commemorative photo for you.
Next, it was time to feed the walruses!
The walruses came out of the aquarium along with the music! When you see it up close, you'll be amazed at its size! The animals entertained us with a variety of tricks, such as greetings, yawning, and applause, in wonderful combination with the zookeepers.
Model families also had fun participating in the "Musunde Hiraite" hands-on play time!
At the end, take a commemorative photo together!
The walrus pose is perfect and everyone can't help but smile.
Other events are held where you can get up close and personal with animals, such as the sea lion show (currently a short version) and "Hi! Pose" with penguins.
(Hours vary depending on the day, so be sure to check the website before heading out!)
An aquarium where such charming sea creatures live. You may even see penguins and otters taking a walk around the facility to relieve their lack of exercise.
And at Ise Sea Paradise, there is a very rare otter, which can only be seen at three parks in Japan.
The one who has the best heart is ``Hirari'', who won first place in Japan in the ``Second Otter Election''.
Her adorable facial expressions and gestures are very popular!
They sometimes come out outside, so you're lucky if you come across them inside the park.
Encounter the feeding time of the Tsumenashi otter! The zookeeper brought me through the glass!
We were able to look at each other hand in hand through the glass...♡ It was a valuable experience.
If you feel a little tired, take a break at the ``Underwater Gororin Hall'' on the second floor.
As the name suggests, you can take off your shoes and roll around or take a break while sitting on the sofa. While looking at the largest migratory tank in the museum, you will feel as if you are on the ocean floor♪ In the large migratory tank, large horse mackerel are swimming leisurely!
In addition to being able to take pictures with the animals as mentioned earlier, there are also many spots where you can take commemorative photos! Let's leave lots of memories!
Next, we went to the Fureai Fish Museum. Here you can see seahorses and mudskippers. Although petting is currently closed, it is a recommended area where you can take a close look at the living fish!
You can watch the zookeepers taking care of the fish at the stylish bar-like counter.
You might even hear about the precious fish from the breeding staff working there! ?
Then, head to the new area “Ikoi no Uokan UOASIS” which will open on July 16th!
A stylish aquarium cafe area like never before, where you can sit in front of the aquarium and leisurely observe the fish. You can bring your own tea or coffee and relax while sitting in front of the aquarium. (You can only bring in drinks. There are vending machines in the area.)
This is a table seat at the Bird's Eye Aquarium, where you can see it from a bird's perspective. Children can also enjoy it because they can use a magnifying glass to see it in an interesting way! The aquarium filled with worldviews such as pirate ships is also a highlight! Ise Sea Paradise has many places like this where you can sit and enjoy the view, and it also serves as a place to take a break, so it's great for families with children.
Next up is the second new area, “Seahorse Country.” Surprisingly, it has the largest number of bred species in Japan! It is also Japan's first seahorse area.
A cute world created by the zookeepers, including the illustrated signboard at the entrance and detailed information about seahorses! You can discover the secrets of the mysterious seahorse.
Seahorses are originally said to bring good luck. It was an area that seemed to offer blessings such as finding someone special, having lots of children, and having a happy marriage.
After having plenty of fun in the aquarium, be sure to stop by the souvenir shop at Ise Meotoiwa(rocksofthemarriedcouple) Iwa Meoto-Yokocho on your way home. There are lots of cute goods modeled after the animals and fish you just met! We also have a great selection of souvenirs from Ise Shima!
Click here for Meoto-Yokocho coverage report! : "Ise Meotoiwa(rocksofthemarriedcouple) Meoto-Yokocho" is full of gourmet food, souvenirs, and experiences unique to Ise! It is also adjacent to Meotoiwa(rocksofthemarriedcouple) a power spot for good relationships!
Ise Sea Paradise, where you can see sea creatures up close and have plenty of fun. The animals were charming, the zookeepers taught us about the animals as if they were introducing their families, and there were lots of handmade POPs...the inside of the facility was a wonderful space full of love. Why not go out and be healed by these sea creatures?
