IseCity Sea Paradise is an aquarium with charming sea mammals and fish located in Futami-cho, Ise City.
Next door is Ise Meotoiwa(rocksofthemarriedcouple) Meoto-Yokocho, an indoor shopping facility where you can enjoy eating, walking around, and shopping for souvenirs.
It's also adjacent to Meotoiwa(rocksofthemarriedcouple), a tourist spot that represents Ise as a symbol of marital harmony and good relationships, so you can easily stop by on foot!
Click here for Meotoiwa(rocksofthemarriedcouple) coverage report! : Let's purify your mind and body at Meotoiwa(rocksofthemarriedcouple) Futamiokitama-JinjaShirine before visiting Ise on Misogi Beach where Meoto Iwa towers!
Meotoiwa(rocksofthemarriedcouple) is on the west side, Ise Sea Paradise is on the east side, and "Meoto-Yokocho" is located in between.
A total of 25 shops, including souvenir shops, restaurants, and experience facilities, are lined up on the approximately 180m street that connects directly to Ise Sea Paradise, and you can walk around the building.
In the morning, the family enjoyed Ise Sea Paradise and then went to Meoto-Yokocho.
Click here for the Ise Sea Paradise coverage report! : Special feature on Ise Sea Paradise! We will explain in detail things to see, discount tickets, souvenirs, etc.
First, go to Daikoku, the shop closest to Ise Sea Paradise!
Walruses, dolphins, seals, and more... cute goods of the animals you saw at the aquarium are lined up everywhere!
There are various goods such as stuffed animals, puppets, key chains, etc. of our aquarium friends, but the most popular one is the stuffed otter!
This stuffed animal is a carefully crafted item that was carefully supervised by the staff who actually raise the black-fronted river otters at the aquarium, paying close attention to every detail, including the body shape and facial expressions, to make it as close to the real thing as possible.
This stuffed toy lets you feel the love of the staff.
Looking at the souvenirs made me feel a little hungry.
So, have fun eating while walking♪
"Otter-kun-yaki" (200 yen), which is shaped like the face of an otter popular at aquariums, is a hot topic on social media for its adorable appearance.
There is no doubt that you will want to take a photo with that cute expression! It's also perfect for children.
Let's all enjoy it right away!
The crunchy and fragrant honey-filled dough is filled with red bean paste made with Iwato salt made in FutamiuraBeach as a secret ingredient!
It's not too sweet, but it's very satisfying, making it perfect as a snack while walking around.
There are many fans of Otter-kunyaki, and some people even traveled all the way from Tokyo to buy it!
Next, go to `` Meoto-Yokocho Ise Oinaina'' located in ``Meoto Yokocho''.
"Oinaina" means "welcome" or "please stop by" in the Ise dialect, and it conveys the feeling of hospitality.
Here you will find Ise Kadoya Beer, which produces local and craft beers from Ise, Isoage Maruten, which is famous for deep-fried seafood made with Ise Shima seafood, and Butasute, a long-established Ise wagyu specialty restaurant. You can enjoy the flavors of 3 different stores.
All of them can be packed with one hand! All the menu items are nice and easy to eat.
My family received Butasute croquettes (100 yen each)!
Butasute croquettes are a familiar dish that the locals of Ise have loved for a long time.
When you take a bite of the freshly fried, crispy pieces, you can't help but smile at the deliciousness. Please give it a try!
When walking around Meoto-Yokocho, be sure to pay attention to the ceiling!
Lanterns strung all over the ceiling. "Meoto Lantern" is a set of two large lanterns and two small lanterns.
Each area of the alley is divided into colors: blue, white, orange...and you can enjoy the changing colors as you walk along.
The dimly lit lanterns are very impressive. You can take photos that look great on SNS!
Among the many shops, there is the well-known Ise shop `` Akafukumochi''.
Here, you can eat in a relaxed atmosphere in a spacious restaurant with a small raised area and benches.
AkafukuIce Ice (530 yen, tax included), a summer specialty that is perfect for hot days, has sweet bean paste and mochi hidden in ice covered in matcha honey.
The bean paste and mochi are not Akafukumochi mochi itself, but are specially made to go with the ice.
You can enjoy the soft texture of the rice cake even in the cold ice.
It seems that it was originally devised in 1963 for beachgoers at FutamiuraBeach.
The birth of AkafukuIce also has something to do with Futami!
You can also enjoy the `` Akafukumochi Akafukumochi'' (220 yen, tax included), which is two Akafuku mochi with bancha, and in the winter, `` Akafukumochi Zenzai'' (530 yen, tax included).
Of course, try Akafukumochi Mochi as a souvenir!

Other options include Matsusaka Beef Kushi Juhachiban, where you can enjoy authentic broiled Matsusaka beef skewers and grilled shellfish.
When you want to have a hearty lunch, there are plenty of restaurants to choose from, including ``Mendokoro Iseya'' where you can enjoy Ise's soul food `` Ise-Udon'', ``Maguro Shrine'' for seafood bowls, and ``Matsuzakaken'', a Western restaurant!
The color of the lanterns on the ceiling also changes to a beautiful fiery red zone.
Next, head to Meoto Iwa Cafe for an experience unique to Ise.
This is a Meotoiwa(rocksofthemarriedcouple) where you can experience things related to Meoto Iwa, a power spot for visiting Ise Shrine and love.
First, the family will try their hand at making a goshuin book using Ise-Momen!
Ise-Momen is dyed using Ise Katagami, a historical traditional craft.
Here, you can choose your favorite from about 20 types of Ise-Momen in various colors and patterns and create your one and only goshuin book in the world.
Ise-Momen has a wide variety of patterns, from those related to Meotoiwa(rocksofthemarriedcouple) to floral and dot patterns.
Once you have selected your fabric, glue it onto the bellows-style backing paper and stick it on, and you're done!
It's easy to make, and the staff will explain it to you, so you don't have to worry about it.
Not only will your experience become a memorable experience, but you'll also want to take the goshuin book you made here and go to various shrines, including IseJingu, to get goshuin stamps!
