New illumination of the TheAkame48Falls Waterfall Valley “Yugen Bamboo Lantern” is a fantastic and exceptional beauty!

The annual illumination of NabariCity 's famous spot "TheAkame48Falls Valley" has been updated this year! 1,000 bamboo lanterns and large LED illuminations decorate the valley in autumn and winter. With the moss-covered valley and cascading waterfall in the background, warm bamboo lanterns create a unique space that provides visitors with a relaxing time.

About 10 minutes from Kintetsu Akameguchi Station, we arrived at TheAkame48Falls Valley!
A commemorative photo taken in front of the Akame Natural History Museum, which just opened this year (2020).
I'm looking forward to entering the building with its lovely Japanese exterior!

Before taking a walk around TheAkame48Falls Valley, first eat your fill.
I found the unique name "HekokiManju" sign in front of the museum!
Out of the 7 types, I got greedy and bought 4 types: ``plain'' with only sweet potato dough, and 4 types with ``grain red bean paste'', ``apple'', and ``cream cheese and cranberry'' inside.

Since the dough of `` HekokiManju'' is made from sweet potatoes, it is said that ``if you eat sweet potatoes, you will fart...'' HekokiManju.
Above all, the mildly sweet dough is delicious! And it goes well with all the ingredients, so the two of us could eat it all together!

My appetite is satisfied and I'm ready. First, take a look at the exhibits at the Akame Natural History Museum.
Various materials are on display, including the nature and history of this area, as well as the roots of ninjas, making it a perfect spot to visit before taking a stroll.

A short walk from the museum is the entrance to TheAkame48Falls Valley!
There is a facility called ``Japan Salamander Center,'' and the characters ``Takki'' and ``San-chan'' were so cute that we took a photo of them together.
*Admission fee is required from here.

Salamanders are creatures that have lived almost unchanged for over 3,000 years. You can observe its unique appearance and ecology, which is called a "living fossil."
I realized that gaining new knowledge is part of the fun of traveling!

And finally, it's time to climb the mountain! There is also a disturbing ``light production'' on the promenade leading to the illuminated area.
This kind of consideration increases the tension.

I finally saw it. A view worthy of being called “ghostly”!
Up until last year, there were about 150 bamboo lanterns lit up, but with "Yugen no Bamboo Lantern", there are about 1000! I can hear many comments from nearby customers saying, "It's beautiful." I totally understand how you feel! The view is so spectacular that you can't help but cry out.

No matter what angle you look at it or what composition you take it in, it will turn out to be a picture, so it's fun to find the best spot! It is sure to look great on SNS.

If you cross the stones well, you can even take photos from inside the mountain stream.
This photo, with its striking contrast between the blue LED lights and the warm bamboo lights, is also one of my best shots.

It's great that the way the light leaks varies depending on the design of the bamboo lamp!
By skillfully combining them, you can create scenery that is not found in ordinary illuminations.

Another highlight is Reijadaki, a beautiful combination of rocks, trees, and basin. This light up is breathtakingly beautiful!

Climb the stairs and enjoy the ``top-down version'' view from a high position.
It is very valuable to be able to see the light up from this angle. A view unique to the TheAkame48Falls Waterfall Valley!

At the end of the walking course, you can admire Fudo Falls (one of the five Akame Falls).
A mysterious space created by nature and light spreads out, and you can't help but be mesmerized by it.

Even on the way home after seeing everything, you can enjoy the bamboo lanterns in each zone.
It was a space that made me think, "I don't want to leave this place!"

Shop at the souvenir shop while basking in the afterglow of enjoying scenery you don't usually get to see.
We have a wide variety of specialty products from around Nabari. Choose matching accessories for the two of you to commemorate your trip.

Gourmet cars are also open during the "Yugen no Bamboo Lantern" period.
I wanted to try local gourmet food, so I bought ``Choboyaki with Iga Beef'' (8 pieces for 700 yen/tax included).

Takoyaki contains Iga beef, and the Iga beef that melts in your mouth is full of flavor and delicious!
You can choose between soy sauce flavor and sauce flavor.

Inside the museum, you can also try your hand at making things like bamboo lanterns and moss terrariums! (Experience fee 500 yen (tax included), time 16:30-19:00)
If you take this opportunity to create an original piece of work, you will have fun memories that will remain in form.
