It has a variety of souvenirs from Senokuniya 's specialty, "Kamiyo-Mochi" and you can enjoy a leisurely meal, making it a must-visit shop when visiting IseJingu!

“Ise Naiku Senokuniya” has arrived!
A large three-story building is located along the Miyuki road leading to IseJingu.

The bus stop is right in front of you, the nearest parking lot for Naiku is next door, and Naiku is just a 1-minute walk away!
In this way, it is a very convenient place for sightseeing around IseJingu.

The first floor of Senokuniya has a corner selling souvenirs and other items.
The spacious store is stocked with many souvenirs, including Ise-Shima specialties, sweets, and pearl products.

Among them, the most recommended is the famous "Kamiyo-Mochi" made by Senokuniya!
This rice cake is made by wrapping red bean paste in a dough made by kneading natural mugwort into glutinous rice polished from brown rice.

This Kamiyo-Mochi has been producing the same Kamiyo-Mochi ever since 1961, when the store changed its name from "Nakamura Tasuke Shoten", the predecessor of Senokuniya to the current "Senokuniya".

Mugwort is said to be a favorite of Amaterasu-Omikami Omikami, the deity of Naiku of IseJingu, and is said to be very good for the health, so Kamiyo-Mochi does not use preservatives or coloring agents.
When you take a bite, the refreshing taste of kusa mochi spreads throughout your mouth.

In 1975, it was presented to His Imperial Highness the Crown Prince, and it won the Minister's Award at the 19th National Confectionery Exhibition, making it a specialty of Senokuniya Ichi, a representative of Ise-Shima!

Following Kamiyo-Mochi there are many other specialties that are unique to Senokuniya!
This is "Monaka Seinokuni", a gem that was also dedicated to the "Geku Dedication Market" at IseJingu Geku.
Senokuniya 's special Dainagon red bean paste is sandwiched between the crunchy and crispy pieces.
Of course, it's delicious if you eat it as is, but we recommend toasting it in the toaster for 2-3 minutes before eating, as it will make it even more crispy!

Kamiyo-Mochi and Monaka are great as souvenirs, but you can also eat them at the Shinto Cafe, which faces the entrance of Senokuniya.
