As you drive along the Ise Futami-Toba Line, Azuchi Castle catches your eye. Get off at the Futamigaura tollgate and head to the Ise Azuchi-Momoyama Bunkamura. At the entrance gate, we were greeted by the familiar Nyanmage and the actors who appear in the play.
Check the play performance timetable and head to the "Great Ninja Theater" first. The ninjas ran freely between the stage and the audience seats, showing off some impressive action! It's fun to mix laughter into the seriousness☆
Next, we headed to the ``Ninja Karakuri Maze.'' I was worried that I might get lost, but I saw through the many tricks and made it safely to the goal. Next, we headed to the Iga Ninja Magic House, which is also very popular with little kids. It was a strange, different space that threw me off my sense of balance.
It was lunch time, so I ate the "Negi Tamadondon" (800 yen) that caught my eye on the sign. It is said to be one of the most popular menu items. It was pork stewed in a sweet and spicy sauce, and went perfectly with the generous amount of green onions.
After filling your stomach, head to the ``Chonmage 3D Theater''. A very funny theater directed by Kin-chan. It's different from normal 3D, and according to the actor, is it the world's first 3D that doesn't require glasses? It's a theater! The program changes depending on the day, such as ``Yamada Magistrate's Office (Ooka Echizen's Osabaki Play)'' and ``Oedo Gekijo Beniya (Gorgeous Oiran Play)''.
After seeing the Nyanmage Theater, we took a palanquin bus to Azuchi Castle, which towers over the mountain. It is said to have been recreated in full size (43m in height) based on historical research, and is quite impressive. Inside, scenes from the Battle of Okehazama have been recreated, and the view from the observation deck on the 6th floor was amazing. And, along with this view, the 7th floor "Golden Room" is amazing. All the walls and ceilings are covered in gold leaf, making it dazzling. ``Kinneko'' who appeared in ``Chonmage 3D-ish Theater'' was also stationed there.
Although I didn't do it this time, you can change into your favorite costume and not only take photos but also enjoy the village. We have a wide range of costumes, including armor, ninja, Mito Komon, and courtesans, so be sure to check them out! (Price starts from 1,000 yen for photography, 3,000 yen for walking outside)
And finally, it's a souvenir. There are also many character products such as ninja costumes, swords, and magedecchi. What I found interesting was the manju called ``You're also evil'' (1,050 yen). It is said to be number 1 in popularity. As the name suggests, this is a souvenir that you'll be happy to receive ☆ This is a must-try!
This time, we were given a special tour of the fun and funny Azuchi-Momoyama Culture Village in Ise by Yasu Saito. You've also appeared on TV. His title is Business Magistrate/Doshin. Here, the bus is called a palanquin, and the admission ticket is called an irimura bill, making it a truly different world. Please come and visit us♪
