Yunoyama Onsen in KomonoTown boasts a history of 1,300 years, and there are more than a dozen inns lined up halfway up Mt.Gozaisho. One of them, ``Yunoyama Resort Kiboso,'' is the first hot spring inn in Mie Prefecture to be certified as a ``health promotion facility with a hot spring usage program.'' The mountaintop building and the main building are connected by a cable car, and boasts a variety of guest rooms with spectacular views. At this inn, where you can feel the majestic nature, you can spend a peaceful time.

About 5 minutes by car from Kintetsu Yunoyama Onsen Station, located at the foot of Mt.Gozaisho. We arrived at Yunoyama Resort Kiboso, an inn that rivals Komono Fuji at an altitude of 369m. To check in, first go to ``Sanjokan'' (top left).

The lobby of Sanjokan offers the warmth of wood. The atmosphere is relaxing.

After checking in, it's time to enjoy!
Enjoy the beautiful scenery of Ise Bay while riding the cable car to the main building.
While admiring the spectacular view, before you know it, you've already arrived at the final stop, and find yourself wishing you had ridden more!

There are 39 guest rooms in total, with a wide variety, and each one is attractive!
The photo shows a Japanese-Western style room on the third floor (capacity: 8 people) that combines the functionality of a hotel with the relaxation of an inn. The wide view window gives you a feeling of openness!

Bare light bulbs, long braziers between the boards... Room 406 on the 4th floor (capacity: 4 people) is a space that feels nostalgic, with a Japanese-style setting filled with hospitality.

Room 409 (capacity 4 people) is located at the corner of the 4th floor. The windows are arranged in an L-shape, so the view is outstanding. This room type is often used for girls' night out.

The view from room 405 is also spectacular.
``The vast panoramic view stretching to the southeast is truly spectacular. We have regular customers who make reservations several months in advance to coincide with the fall foliage season,'' says staff member Tsukui.
Spending time on the porch of this room was a luxury in itself.

This is the first inn in Mie Prefecture to be certified as a ``health promotion facility with hot spring usage program,'' so of course there are plenty of hot spring facilities!
The natural hot spring ``Jishi-no-Yu'' contains radon (weakly radioactive), so if you soak in it slowly, you will feel warm from the core of your body.
At the "Open-air Bath in the Sky", you can experience healing with all five senses!

The public bath (pictured is for women) is a spacious space. Stretch your arms and legs and wash away your daily stress!

The hot air bath facility “Radon Fountain” is also popular! By inhaling the radon that is created when the water from the source springs from 1,500 meters underground and evaporates, it stimulates the cells and increases the body's immune system and natural healing power. Refresh your body from the inside out at the so-called "sucking hot springs"!

Once you go outside from the 3rd floor of the main building and climb the 82-step "Steam Corridor", you will arrive at another hot spring facility, "Yukemuri no Sato". I’m looking forward to seeing what kind of hot spring it will be this time ♪
*The "Steam Corridor" is a facility exclusively for the use of the "Radon Fountain" or for hotel guests.

Bozan-no-Yu allows you to feel close to nature as it is. As you soak in the hot water while listening to the chirping of birds, you can experience a sense of unity with the nature of Mt.Gozaisho.

``Kobetsuhi no Yu'' is a bathroom filled with the scent of cypress. Enjoy the ``elegance of a hideaway'' in the tranquility of the mountains.

After getting out of the hot springs, go to Zabouan, a resting place. The refreshing breeze that passes through the room feels good.

As I was relaxing, a cable car passed in front of me!
This is a ryokan that will thoroughly entertain you.

For dinner, enjoy a gorgeous kaiseki meal made with plenty of seasonal ingredients! The standard ``Kibo Kaiseki'' menu will make your heart flutter each time you are served one dish at a time, including A5-ranked Japanese black beef, straw-grilled bonito, and seasonal desserts.

The hotel also has banquet halls of various sizes. The ``Natsugiku Inoma'' small banquet hall with a sunken kotatsu is perfect for families and small groups.

The night view of YokkaichiCity that can be seen from inside the hotel is also spectacular. It's a fantastic view that lets you feel the liveliness of the town!

After breakfast on the second day, it is customary to spend time on the observation deck of Sanjokan. Relax while swinging in the hammock.

There is another fun thing to do on the observation deck of Sanjokan! What you can see in front of you is commonly known as "Heart Pond." It is a power spot where it is said that if you can throw a coin into the bowl in front of you, your love will be fulfilled.

A recommended souvenir is the Yunohana Senbei from Hinodeya Seika located in the lobby of Sanjokan. These carbonated rice crackers have a crispy texture and come in cute retro packaging!

Mr. Tsukui, a staff member, says, ``About 70% of our customers are repeat customers, and they enjoy the spectacular view and hot springs that can only be found at Kiboso. We have a wide range of age groups, so we strive to provide services that allow everyone to enjoy a relaxing time.'' Masu.
This inn is full of recommended points, including not only excellent hot spring facilities, but also a cable car and special cuisine. Once you visit, you will definitely fall in love with its charm!
