Oedo Onsen Monogatari is a hot spring entertainment group that operates 40 hot spring inns and hot spring facilities nationwide. In line with our concept of ``Enjoying hot springs and traveling more and more easily,'' we are developing unique inns with the hope that people will visit our various facilities.
We asked Tadahiro Yasue, the manager of Oedo Onsen Monogatari Ise Shima, about this. ``Our special feature is that we can enjoy a location with a spectacular view of Ago Bay, hot springs gushing out from the local Hamajima, and above all, creative buffets that change with the seasons.''
We will thoroughly report on accommodations where you can enjoy the unique charm of Ise-Shima!

Ago Bay is part of Ise-Shima National Park and is also known as a major production area for pearl culture. ``Oedo Onsen Monogatari Ise-Shima'' stands overlooking the beautiful coast lined with intricate curves and numerous islands.
Since its opening in 2012, it is a popular hot spring facility that has been visited by many customers from within and outside the prefecture.

After checking in, go to the yukata corner in front of the front desk and choose your yukata! Find your favorite color and pattern design from several types and enjoy the atmosphere of a hot spring.
The set also includes a height measure showing the approximate size and a large full-length mirror, so you can choose your favorite while looking in the mirror.
What you can see next to the yukata corner is a shelf of children's slippers. Find the perfect size here.

Guests can choose between the sea side and the mountain side. We have a variety of room types to choose from, such as ``Ocean view is a must!'' or ``I just want to relax while looking at the greenery.''

In front of the ``Japanese-style room on the sea side,'' you can see a landscape that you will never get tired of, such as the magnificent ocean, boats passing by, and rafts of cultured pearls.

``Mountain side Western-style twin room'' is a chic and sophisticated space. Bed-type rooms are said to be popular with elderly people.

``Western-style Barrier-Free Force'' is designed to be comfortable for people in wheelchairs. You can relax on the large sofa placed in the center of the room.

The ``folk art-style large room'' is only one room and has an overwhelming panoramic view with a sense of openness! It's separate and there are no rooms next to each other or above or below, so it's okay to make a little noise! Perfect for trips and training camps for large groups.
The 32-tatami seaside Japanese-style room with an ocean view is also separate from the rest of the guest rooms, so you can use it as you like.

Next, we will introduce our proud hot spring facilities.

The source name is ``Hamajima Onsen,'' and the quality of the hot spring water is ``sodium-chloride hot spring,'' which is said to be a ``all-purpose hot spring.'' The slightly salty hot water can be expected to be effective against neuralgia and joint pain.

The large indoor bath has large glass windows that give it an open feel. The calm, unobstructed scenery of Ago Bay and the high-quality hot water will gradually relieve your fatigue from the inside and out.

An open-air bath where you can spend a relaxing time with the sound of waves as background music. The sea breeze blowing through feels so good!

In addition to being able to enjoy this hot spring on a day trip, there is also a plan called ``Day Trip Dinner Buffet'' where you can enjoy it as a set with a dinner buffet. *Hotel guests will have priority for bathing.

The view of the sea dyed in the morning glow from the open-air bath is so beautiful that you will be moved by it. You'll be enchanted by the fantastic scenery and find yourself taking a long bath.

*The position of the morning sun changes depending on the season.

Don't miss the Kawariyu, where you can enjoy medicinal and other hot springs that change monthly. Among them, the ``Collagen Hot Spring'' is especially popular among women, as it leaves your skin feeling smooth and moisturized after taking a bath.

After getting out of the hot spring, you don't have much time to cool down your hot body! Please go to the Manga Corner, where masterpieces are lined up. ``This area is not a hot spring town, so there are no places to hang out at night,'' says Yasue.
In addition to this manga corner, there were plenty of fun amusements inside the facility, including a hot spring, a standard table tennis corner, and a game corner! *Some facilities require a fee.

I found a wood grain vending machine! It's designed to blend in with the background, so it doesn't look out of place in a Japanese atmosphere.

Inside the hotel, you can feel the spirit of attentive service. There is a bench in front of the elevator, which is popular with elderly customers waiting for the elevator. I feel so welcomed by this kind of small consideration.

Dinner is the popular "creative buffet"! The chefs' performances in the 24m long live kitchen further enhance the taste of freshly prepared food. If you look closely, you won't see any pillars between the kitchen and the seating area. In other words, you can enjoy a live cooking scene from every seat!

There are a whopping 80 types of items, including desserts! One of the charms of ``Oedo Onsen Monogatari Ise-Shima'' is that the menu changes during the ``Cooking Fair'' held seasonally! Every time you visit, you'll discover new flavors!

The most popular item is the seafood that can only be found in Ise-Shima! The freshest sashimi is especially delicious. That's no wonder, because the head chef, who has a background in Japanese cuisine, keeps an eye on the temperature to ensure the best taste and the seasonings to accompany the food, and serves the food in gorgeous arrangements that make it look like a feast.
The deliciousness of freshly fried piping hot tempura, freshly grilled scallops and shrimp is exceptional. What a luxury to have all-you-can-eat sushi where you choose your toppings and have them made on the spot!

Dessert is an extra! So, we had a wide variety of sweets!

It's not just about adult satisfaction. We also have a baby food corner so we can accommodate babies too! Isn't this one of the important points for families with infants when choosing a place to stay?

“Oedo Onsen Monogatari Ise-Shima” is also proud of its “Breakfast Buffet”!
Delicious freshly baked local dried fish provided from the live kitchen! Spend a relaxing morning watching Ago Bay illuminated by the sunlight.

What you should try at the breakfast buffet is the ``make-your-own nokke-don''. It's so luxurious to be able to put so many ingredients on top of the bowl that it overflows!

If you want to enjoy the nature around the hot springs even more, go for the Ago Bay Enjoyment Cruise. Start from the pier on the premises! You can enjoy sights that can only be found here while touring the diverse Ago Bay, which is also known as the "Aegean Sea of Japan."

While cruising, you can also experience ``basket fishing'' where you pull up a basket set in the sea. If you're lucky enough to catch some fish or shrimp, you'll be lucky enough to have them grilled right on the boat.
It would be fun to try sea fishing from the pier using rental fishing rods and bait! *Paid

``In addition to the hot springs, gourmet food, and location, the Ise-Shima region has many tourist attractions. In order for you to stay here and relax, we will continue to focus on cost performance. ``We will continue to aim to be a hot spring inn that will please many people and allow them to fully enjoy the charm of Ise-Shima,'' says Yasue. I felt the spirit of hospitality at this hot spring inn, which has a relaxing environment and facilities!
