Do you know about the Minota Bamboo Grove, a bamboo forest road in MatsusakaCity?
This promenade, which has been maintained by local volunteers since 2016, has now been transformed into one of the best bamboo forest spots in the country. This time, we will introduce the charms and access information of the Minoda Bamboo Forest, and we will also try our hand at shooting our first TikTok video! !

As I was walking through Minota Town, where the idyllic countryside spreads out, I discovered a space that felt like the entrance to a hidden village.

This is the entrance to the Minota Bamboo Forest.

As you walk comfortably along the gravel road to the entrance, you will be overwhelmed by the density and height of the towering bamboo forest.
What kind of scenery is spreading inside? Feeling excited, I headed into the bamboo forest.

In fact, this Bamboo Forest Road is a little-known spot that began to be developed in 2016.

but! Look at this sight.
It is no exaggeration to say that this is a spectacular bamboo forest road that rivals the Kyoto Arashiyama Bamboo Forest, which is known nationwide as a tourist attraction.

The total length of the Minoda Bamboo Grove is 182 meters.
It only takes about 10 minutes to walk slowly, so you can easily enjoy a stroll through the bamboo forest.

There is also a resting space along the road, so it's great for those who want to immerse themselves in this space for a long time.

The soothing melody of wind chimes, the clean air, and the beautiful scenery.
Please relax and enjoy the moment when everything is in place.

From here, it’s time to start sightseeing in Mie! This is a corner for creating TikTok videos!

[Why did you suddenly start shooting TikTok videos? ]
At Mie Kanko, we are focusing on disseminating information on various SNS such as Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
(If you haven't followed us yet, please do so!!!)

In June 2020, we opened the first official TikTok account for a nationwide prefectural tourism promotion organization, but there were no employees in the workplace with the know-how to create videos, so we were unable to create dedicated content. .

but! ! !
With the help of a TikTok official, I received advice from famous video creators Zono (@zono.sann) and Atsushi Aaa (@aaa_tsushi_), who have over 2 million followers.

Here, Kanko Mie's first new TikToker was born.

[About the equipment used]

“If you want to take a video, you need some kind of equipment, right?”

Please rest assured. This time I only used a smartphone (iPhone8)!
Even I, who has no experience in video production, was able to do it, so I think anyone can imitate it once they get the hang of it!

Now, I would like to introduce three videos that I made at Minoda Bamboo Forest.

``Video production'' may sound like a high hurdle, but I think we've shown that even amateurs can easily make videos as long as they have a sample video.

Editing was also easy on the TikTok app, so it might be a good idea to give it a try first.

If you saw this article and thought, "I want to make something like this too!", please post using #kankomie! I think it's a lot of fun to make videos while having fun with your friends and loved ones.

From here, we will introduce the must-see spots around the Minota Bamboo Forest.

As soon as you pass through the Bamboo Forest Highway, you will find Binta Shrine (Map ③).

Hojo Pond (Map ④), where you can see carp swimming and a fountain, is a relaxing space that is different from the bamboo forest.

The Minota Daibutsu (Map ②), which has a statue height of 3 meters and is one of the few large Buddha statues in Mie Prefecture, is loved by locals as a staple of excursions.

If you get hungry after taking photos, there is a handmade udon shop called Minota nearby♪ (Map handmade udon shop)

Our recommended offal curry udon is a special dish with an irresistible harmony of spicy curry and sweet offal! !

You can soothe your mind, fill your stomach, and have a fulfilling time with nature.
(After this, I will be busy making videos and articles, and I will be dizzyingly busy, which is another story.)

If you are visiting Minota Bamboo Forest by car, please park at the east parking lot of Matsusaka Agricultural Park BellFarm.
BellFarm is also a spot where you can see beautiful flowers throughout the year, so be sure to stop by when you visit Minota Bamboo Grove.
