Laguna Ise Shima LUXUNA is a glamping facility where you can stay overnight that just opened in July 2021. The name "LUXUNA" is a combination of "LUXURY" and "NATURE".

The management staff of Laguna Ise Shima LUXUNA are campers who love camping. The area is filled with facilities where you can enjoy the feeling of glamping, luxurious meals, and activities where you can enjoy nature, including GozaShirahamaBeach, which is recommended by campers.

*Glamping is a coined word that combines the words glamorous and camping. Leave the tent setup and meal preparation to the facility while enjoying the atmosphere of camping in nature. It also features luxurious meals that incorporate plenty of seafood and mountain ingredients, as well as comfortable tents.

This time we will be introducing a "Woodland Glamping Site" surrounded by forests. This is an area where you can fully experience nature, such as the sparkling sunlight filtering through the leaves, the cool breeze blowing through the trees, and the sound of the waves coming from the nearby GozaShirahamaBeach.

In addition, there is currently a seaside area where you can stay in a tent overlooking GozaShirahamaBeach (with a starry sky at night!), and Laguna Garden Terrace, where you can enjoy BBQ and swimming at GozaShirahamaBeach.

A total of seven tents are each named after a forest fairy. Each tent is made by Nordisk, a Scandinavian outdoor brand that is extremely popular nationwide. The cotton tent is breathable and comfortable! The tent looks stylish and will get you excited!

An interesting point is that each tent is slightly different in construction and interior design. This time we will introduce two tents!

The first one is "Imp". It's a large tent that can accommodate up to 4 people, and the interior is decorated in pale pink, giving it a very girly atmosphere. Perfect for those who want to enjoy glamping on a girls' trip ♡

Girls' talk will be exciting inside the cute tent. It might be a good idea to bring cute matching pajamas and have a pajama party♪

The second thing I would like to introduce is "Korobokkuru". It can accommodate up to 3 people and features a spacious private wooden deck space. Relax in the spacious space and enjoy bathing in the fresh air.

All seven tents have a wooden fence built to eye level, creating a sense of privacy. In addition, there is a BBQ space gazebo (*Gazebo: Western-style gazebo with a roof) and a fire pit in front of the tent, so you can enjoy meals and a bonfire in front of your tent. You don't have to travel to eat, which is very convenient!

Let me tell you a little "huh" story here. Some of the wood used for the gazebo is said to be the same wood that is also used for pearl farming. This is apparently to make it resistant to salt damage caused by sea breezes. This is a unique idea for a campsite by the sea! !

Kayaks are kayaks, but do you know "Clear Kayak"? The kayak's body and oars are all transparent. This goes perfectly with the sea at GozaShirahamaBeach boasts the highest transparency in Mie Prefecture!

Clear Kayak only has a guided plan and costs 7,500 yen (tax included) for 90 minutes (per person). A regular color kayak costs 3,300 yen (tax included) for 90 minutes (per person), and a guided plan costs 5,500 yen (tax included) for 90 minutes (per person).

SUP

SUP is an activity that even beginners can easily try, as it can be rowed smoothly without the need for arm strength. The board is large and stable, so we recommend that you try standing while maintaining your balance and enjoy the feeling of floating on the sea. It's so fluffy and feels great♪ When you're a little tired, just sit on the board and relax on the ocean while riding the waves.

This is 120 minutes and costs 3,300 yen (tax included) per person.

Did you enjoy watching the powerful video? ! Towing tube is an activity in which you are pulled by a jet ski and run across the ocean at speeds of 25km to 70km per hour. It's full of thrills! You can order the speed up or down using hand signals. Once I reached speeds of 70 km/h, I couldn't even scream as I struggled to avoid being thrown off. (It seems that the speed you can achieve is limited depending on the weather and wave conditions on the day, but the jet ski driver will do his best to make sure you have as much fun as possible!)
It is less likely to tip over than a banana boat, making it easier for women and children to enjoy. but! You will be soaking wet, so changing clothes and taking a shower after the activity is a must (lol)

Luxurious meals are one of the joys of glamping! Laguna Ise Shima LUXUNA offers a complete lineup of ingredients, including fresh seafood collected by Shima's Ama divers and delicious meats.

This is a local Ama diver from Ise-Shima. They deliver the seafood they purchased that day (it was moving around in the basket a lot when I took the photo. It's really fresh!) to Laguna Ise-Shima LUXUNA.

For the light course, you can enjoy domestic rib roast steak, skirt steak, seafood (shrimp, turban shell, butterfish, squid), and Ise-Shima sea lettuce soup made with homemade bouillon. When it comes to the standard, we add things like long offal from a local yakiniku restaurant and bone-in veal loin. Furthermore, if you go to Premium, the shrimp will be upgraded to Ise shrimp. The spiny lobster is firm and packed with flavor. it's the best.

The steak meat is tender and the fat is sweet! It was also good when eaten with fresh vegetables ♡

There are two types of BBQ stoves: a gas stove type that allows even beginners to easily cook, and a full-fledged type stove that uses charcoal.

Don't worry, you can cook deliciously even on a gas stove with far infrared heating.

And...the best part of camping is the bonfire. However, for some reason, it seems difficult to prepare firewood and start a fire. but…! At Laguna Ise Shima LUXUNA, you can easily enjoy a bonfire. Firewood is set up in the fire pit, and all you have to do is add a igniter and ignite it with a burner.
