A father of a naughty daughter and a selfish son who lives in IseCity. There tends to be an increase in photos of children looking like idiots (lol), but do they look energetic, fun, and cute? We are active with this motto!
After actually going out with my family, I'm sharing the charms of Mie that I highly recommend.
The first thing I would like to introduce to you is the brightly colored Hananoki in front of the main gate of Iinan Prefectural High School.
This large tree is located in a prominent location that can be seen from National Route 166, and is crowded with people around mid-November, when it is at its best.
When the Hananoki trees are at their peak, students from the Iinan High School brass band will hold a concert under the large tree, creating an elegant and magical space!
My son fell down violently and his whole body was dyed red with fallen leaves (lol)
This is an autumn foliage spot that is located deep in the mountains of Haze, Iidaka Town, and is only known to those in the know!
To get to Taiun-ji Temple, you need to take a narrow mountain road from National Route 166 to Taiun-ji Temple, but when the best time to see the autumn leaves comes, traffic increases and the road becomes crowded, so it is best to avoid the crowds. We recommend going out in the morning.
The entire precincts are covered in beautiful autumn leaves, but the area around the Hakkaku Dosho, which is a prefecture-designated cultural property, is especially brightly colored.
The best time to see them is usually from mid-November to early December, making it a spot worth visiting!
The Octagonal Dojo can be viewed from a high place, allowing you to enjoy the autumn leaves from various angles. The precincts were colored in many colors under the blue sky, making it look like it was decorated with autumn leaves.
My daughter was somewhat satisfied with the vivid scenery seen from above (lol)
When I looked at the pond in the grounds, I saw autumn leaves reflected on the water surface.
The sight of carp swimming through the fallen leaves in the brightly colored pond looked like a fantastic piece of art.

From JR/Kintetsu Matsusaka Station, take the Sanko Bus bound for Sumeru for about 1 hour and 30 minutes, transfer at Mori, take the community bus for about 20 minutes, get off at Kuchisakuchi, and walk for 30 minutes. *Community bus only operates on weekdays. So please be careful.
Approximately 80 minutes by car from Ise Expressway "Matsusaka IC"
Next, we would like to introduce you to a large Sasanqua tree that is changing color in a tea plantation in Iinan-cho, Kayumi.
This sasanqua tree is a giant tree that is 150 years old, and along with the large ginkgo trees that line up next to it, it blooms beautifully and changes color from around late November.
When you get close to it, you will be overwhelmed by its size, it is a huge tree.
*This sasanqua is privately owned, and a parking lot and viewing space have been secured as a courtesy, but since it is private property, please respect manners when viewing it.
The branches of the sasanqua tree wrap around the path in front of it, so you can even pass under it.
The natural tunnel dyed in green and bright pink is a very rare sight that can only be seen during this time of year!
From Iinan High School, where Hananoki is located, take National Route 166 toward Nara (west) for about 400 meters, then turn onto a side street and you will reach a tea plantation where Sasanqua is located.
When the Sasanqua flowers are at their peak, informational signs will be erected along the national highway, so be sure to look for them.
The next thing I would like to introduce is the ``Giant Rice Straw Monument'' that appears in Shimonigaki, Iinan Town.
This rice straw object that appears along National Route 368 around mid-November every year is created in a different shape depending on the year.
In 2020, "Giant Amabie" was enshrined in the hope of overcoming the coronavirus.
The monument is on display until spring of the following year, and can be viewed for a long period of time, not just in the fall, making it a new symbol of Iinan Town.
this For photos of Giant Amabie, I usually take photos of the wonderful kahadavalley. a lot I'm taking pictures 111.tm.16 I borrowed it from .
The rice straw monument is located about 1km from National Route 166 onto National Route 368 towards Nara.
Even if you don't really look for it, you can easily see the impressive monuments along the road (lol)
I'm really looking forward to seeing what kind of monuments will appear this year.
As you stroll around and enjoy the beautiful autumn scenery, you'll start to get hungry, right?
Therefore, a hidden bakery in this area that you should definitely stop by is ``SETTE FELICE.''
This bakery opened in February 2021 in a renovated vacant house in Nanokaichi, Iidaka Town.
It's run by someone who moved from Osaka because he was drawn to Iidaka Town, which is full of nature, and you can buy delicious bread baked early in the morning at a reasonable price.
The shop can be used not only for takeout but also as a cafe, where you can take a break while looking out at the beautiful nature of kahadavalley.
The fragrant smell of bread permeated the spacious and clean store.
There is a wide variety of bread available, but the popular breads are sometimes sold out in the morning, so we recommend stopping by early when touring kahadavalley!
