We will introduce shrines, temples, and flower gardens where you can see Hanachozu in Mie Prefecture.

Introducing carefully selected shrines, temples, and Hanachozu in Mie InabeCity (KuwanaCity, MeiwaTown, SuzukaCity Town, Suzuka City, and TsuCity)! We will also explain the highlights of each spot in detail.

Take Shrine

Takejinja saikuu, located in Saiku, Meiwa Town, Taki MeiwaTown Mie Prefecture, is one of the shrines in Mie Prefecture that has become a hot topic for Hanachozu.

Hanachozu using local flowers and gift flowers creates a scene that evokes the elegance of each season.

On the day the full moon rises every month, the ``Full Moon Shrine & Moon Market'' is held, where Hanachozu are lit up and goshuin (shuin) stamps exclusive to the Full Moon Shrine are distributed.

Mizugaki-JinjaShrine (SuzukaCity)

Mizugaki-JinjaShrine is a shrine located in Higashi Tamagaki-SuzukaCity Mie Prefecture, and in addition to Hanachozu, Japanese umbrellas are displayed on the grounds.

Hanachozu colored with seasonal flowers is displayed, and wind chimes are hung from the roof of the chozui-sha.

The period when wind chimes can be seen is from around June to mid-September, but it may end earlier if typhoons become more frequent.

There are parts of the precincts where there are countless red torii gates, and you can feel the atmosphere of Fushimi Inari in Kyoto.

There are 3 types of seasonal Goshuin stamps and 1 type of birth month Goshuin stamp, and they are finished using the country's traditional craft, ``Ise Katagami''.

Tsubakinakato-JinjaShrine (SuzukaCity)

Tsubakinakato-JinjaShrine is a shrine located in Ichinomiya-cho, SuzukaCity Mie Prefecture, and there is Hanachozu decorated with seasonal flowers on the grounds.

During the hydrangea season, hydrangea Hanachozu is performed, and the color is uniformly blue.

There is a ``seasonal goshuin'' with a lion's head and seasonal flowers drawn on it, and there are two types available each month.

This shrine got its name as `` Tsubakinakato-JinjaShrine'' after ``Tsunami-ki Shrine'' and ``Naka-to Shrine'' merged, but some of the goshuin stamps have the name of the shrine before the merger. It is distributed.

It's about a 10 minute drive from the aforementioned Mizugaki-JinjaShrine, so be sure to enjoy the Kyu-Ise Hanachozu Hanamode pilgrimage, which takes you through both of them.

Kazahaya no Sato (TsuCity)

Kazahaya no Sato is a flower garden located in Hekicho, TsuCity hekicho, where you can enjoy plum blossoms from February to March, wisteria from April to May, and hydrangeas from June to July. can do.

There is Hanachozu near the entrance of the park, and during the plum, wisteria, and hydrangea seasons, beautiful Hanachozu are performed using them.

The hydrangea festival is being held at Kazahaya no Sato until July 17, 2023, and you can admire approximately 77,000 hydrangeas of 40 varieties.

The hydrangeas, which are one of the largest in the Tokai area, are a sight to behold, so be sure to check them out.

This year, you can leave the park at any time as long as you enter by 6:30 pm, so you have a chance to see a fantastic scene of sunset and hydrangeas!

Kanai Shrine (InabeCity)

Kanai Shrine, located in Kitaganai, Inabe-cho, InabeCity Mie Prefecture, is a shrine characterized by gorgeous Hanachozu and colorful goshuin stamps.

It is known as one of the shrines in Mie Prefecture that started Hanachozu, and it is so popular that if you search for "#Kanai Shrine" on Instagram, you will see many photos of Hanachozu taken by users.

Some Goshuin stamps are distributed on a monthly basis, and the one distributed in June 2020 had a kaleidoscope of hydrangeas and cherries drawn on it.

Kanai Shrine's goshuin is very colorful and cute, and the beautiful thing about it is that it says "Kanai Shrine" in golden letters!

Jindate Shrine (KuwanaCity)

Kodate Shrine is a shrine located in Oaza Eba KuwanaCity Mie Prefecture, and Hanachozu on the grounds is decorated with seasonal flowers.

The above photo was taken during the hydrangea season, and in addition to the hydrangeas, there are also lilies, rhododendrons, and water lilies in Hanachozu, giving it a very gorgeous finish.

Photos of the goshuin stamps are not shown here, but the dragons and lion dances drawn with paper cutouts are extremely delicate and beautiful, like art.

Hoseiji Temple (KuwanaCity)

Hojoji is a Jodo Shinshu temple located in Kayamachi, KuwanaCity Mie Prefecture, and the Hanachozu are decorated with seasonal flowers.

There are chrysanthemums and gerberas in the water bowl on the right, and hydrangeas and other flowers floating in the water bowl on the left. (*The first photo above was unveiled on June 1, 2022)

Seasonal flowers are also floating in Hanachozu, so please enjoy viewing them as well.
